Buddha's Dream by SinCity Seeds

I'm stoked to hear the good news Hamish. Glad to know our gut feelings about sin city was not so far off base. That lvbk some f'ing tits. Smell is unique from the sound of it.

Those buddha's dream are getting close to 12/12. But this guys are not wanting to produce side branches for shit either. Makes me think they lean toward the budda's sister, which is more indica, or leaning toward the blueberry in the blue dream's make up.

All I know is they're not stretching anything like a haze/sativa. Two do have thin leaves like the blue dream, but one is a male and the other one I'm thinking is too squat to be blue dream dominant.

Anyway I'm rambling so I'll wrap it up with, I think they'll be nice man!
 
My only complaint with the LVBK (after fucking up with the branching but I should've read more rather than rely on it, my fault) is I have two total mutants. I mean, twisted witch-nail claw looking leaves, only shows from 2 weeks into flower. Looks downright EVIL. BUT. Those frost up faster than absolutely anything I have ever seen. Their sisters right next to them in same conditions and soil are looking normal, don't get me wrong also frosty as all get-out, but those weird-ass mutants are just on a whole new level, looks like a meth-head spilled his stash on them, HUGE crystals man almost like it really is sugar. I just can't get over the witch-claws.
But that being said, seems like those are the ones you WANT. I'll get you guys some pics when they are DONE, I don't want to put anybody off with the weirdness before I have fully judged the smoke and all else. Just two mutants, but gods, EVIL looking bloody things...
 
The dankest weed I ever had was a mutant blueberry from dutch passion in 2002. I germinated the seeds and then took them to a buddies to veg while I worked on getting a place to stay, dude almost killed my mutant because he said he didn't like the way it looked all weird, so I took it back. Twisted leaves and slow growth, had to clone like 6-7 cm long clones and clone survival rate was horrid. But like you're lvbk that mutant blueberry was much more resinous than any of the others in that batch.

On the other hand, the mutants I had of Cannaventure's purpleberry bxII sucked a big raw one.
 
Super interested in those LVBK shots, I am going to grab a pack after seeing that pic on the tude. Unreal. I've been looking for a bubba and was going to go with CC, thank goodness they were sold out of regs and I looked around at Sincity gear. Might get CC bubba later on, but that picture man... that promo picture is amazing !

The sooner the better on those bud shots Hamish :) As you put it I'm like a kid at Christmas, can't wait for them to get here and see what I get.
 
So how did those Buddah's Dream turn out? I did Sin City's Cherry Fuel.. which was Buddah's Sister x Petrol.. the shit was dank as fuck. Yielded 2 liter size colas.. but in flower she took 100 days. I don't regret it tho.. was some of the best shit I ever grew.
 
Sorry, had to shut it down but the dreams turned out descent. 2 males and three females. No hermies. Two were a citrus flavor and one a blue dreamish flavor. Not the big yields I hoped for but will start the other ten beans once I move out to oregon in a month or two. Overall I was pleased that with the 5 beans ran and look forward to doing the last 10 buddhas dream.

I'm not sure why I said not the large yields I was looking for, two of the three phenotypes actually did flower nice and heavy but did take 70 or more days. Any who, I started the last ten and I am starting a new journal for them.

It is very Kushy but sweet, you can smell everything from berries to coffee to caramel and burnt sugar coming over a Kush base. SPECTACULAR. Serious frost too. The BP leaning pheno is a frost-MONSTER.

It just tends to not want to make branches too easily or very early on either, so keep that in mind when you run 'em. I'm definitely vegging my two chosen phenos for an SoG style run.

I had two runs with the LVBK, three if you include clones. The dank ass smelling plant I mentioned above yielded not too much. Clone run was a miserable fail on that one, I put her outside and all I got was pinhead buds with no flavor. From the first seed run I also got this almost mace-like pheno that kicked ass. I flowered that one waaaaaaaay early, it was just before the Dream Beaver run and I was really low on smoke. That one was epic, but tiny yield and obviously no clones. Needless to say I was brimmingnwith excitement for the second seed run... It was like a normal Bubba really. I didn't like it, my friends loved it. Its bitsy yields also. All the pics were here on RIU so I lost those albums when the site changed up. Overall, I will run SinCity gear any day I could see the potential if you select the right type. I didnt and expected a bit more from it, but according to other fellas I got what was advertised I was just expecting too much. Decent Bubba type, just not my bag of chips.
 
Ohhhh and the bad run with them was the Cali Connection Tahoe OG going apeshit with the balls and seeding the lot of my LVBK run, so in fairness I guess I can't judge that run. Damn was I pissed wowowow. Burned all the CC gear in my vault lmfao

Yeah I think Bubba and most of the crosses are light on the yield. I have recently grown out Peyote Purple, Caramel Candy Kush, and SSDD and none of the Bubba leaning phenos produced worth a shit. All nice smoke, but tiny yields.
 
That is the word. Nice smoke. Not spectacular, not poopy, but nice. If it came on a huge fat cola then yes, I would grow another pack and toke huge fatties because sometimes that is what you really want, a big joint as opposed to a strong one. But nice with a shy yield, not for me eh, my tent is too small.
