Newbie here, first post, so if I posted this in error or in wrong area please let me know, I will correct asap. Now, back to business: My brother has a pending order for Buddha's dream 15 pack. I have searched the old internet, but have only read and seen info about Sin city's other strains (which appear bomb and have good reviews, but pictures are no way of telling).

My question is: has anyone grown some of the Buddha's Dream? Is it really a heavy yielder, is it only 60-70 days? Male pollen worth using? Was it worth the coin or should we not expect much?

I want Blu dream but have no way of getting it in clone form, so I'm hoping to get a Blu d. leaning pheno, especially if it has a cherry tart taste. I know that there is Blu d. in seed form from Sin city as well, but I want the quicker finish from the buddha's sister.

Do you guys think buddha's dream will be better/more unique than critical sensi star by delicious seeds? Or apples and oranges kind of thing.(Little off topic I know, but we also have the CS star coming too so figured I'd ask, just curious.)

Lastly, what is your best experience (or worst) with Sincity strains.
What do the wonderful minds here a RIU have to say. Any input is welcome, and thanks for sharing. Peace and good vibes.:weed:

I grew Buddha's Dream last year and was happy with it. Germed 4 in rooter pods, 4/4 sprouted, 3/4 female, 2 tall 1 short. I'd call them a good yielder. The plants were easy to grow and strong/healthy. I think I let mine flower for about 80 days. I haven't ever tried blue dream so can't compare but don't remember any cherry smell/flavor. Was it worth the $?, relatively yes, you can pay a lot more for worse genetics. SinCity is fairly new and there aren't many grows on the net but I've only read good things about them and believe them to be a solid company. If I buy seeds again I'll definitely keep them in mind.
 
Thanks man for the head's up. Though I must say not digging the 80 days. I should have guessed though if breeder states 63-70 days, then it would be more like 70-80. Well hopefully they go a little faster in an aeroponic type system.

Well I sent a western union money order to herbies last week for these Buddha's dream beans, and order has already arrived state side. Sent it 7/3, and order was in US by 7/9! hopefully it will be in hands by weeks end. Just figured I let the people know. If you do not have or want to use a credit/debit card, western union money order and herbies headies for sure. PS I made the money order for $5 more than their invoice just incase. Hope this helps someone wanting to know about ways to order beans.
 
Well beans arrived to safe house(out of town) and things are good. I will start a journal once I get the beans. Probably start 8 or 10 beans.
Now when I stated newbie in first post, I meant to the forum, not to mary jane. So please don't shy away because you think I'm some noob that don't know my stuff. I get down, so throw me some more information please.
Basically just want to hear about growth pattern, time till ripe, and taste. Anything interesting. Cheers.
 
Well shit happens and now I will have to wait to run this strain. Limited on time, but will post up when I can afford to pop them. Sorry guys, but still would be cool to hear anyone else's experiences with buddha's sister.
 
LOL looks like we're all kinda pioneering SinCity gear. Everybody's just starting or just cloned, but I'll have bud-porn in like 8 weeks at least hoping it's as dank as it was made out to be!!

Hell's yeah. I'm sure that lvbk is going to be fire, that Ad pic for it is nuts. I got a good feeling about Sin's gear. I'm hoping for a blue dream leaning phenotype with those big nugs.

I'm sure that bud porn you'll make with that lvbk will be like opening up a hightimes or a good penthouse. LOL, Cheers.
 
I have that same good feeling. Only twice before the LVBK did it happen that I saw a pic of a plant, and just fell in love. It was like that with the NYCD and she did not disappoint at all. And the time before that it was Black Widow, still one of my hands-down favourites.
Sometimes you have to follow your gut, hasn't let me down before so yeah I am as excited as a kid before Christmas!

I am SOOOOO interested in Buddhas Dream. Buddhas Sister is an amazing high. AMAZING. An incredible all-day smoke you just want to inhale permanently, I wanted to get a vape built into a gas mask and just sit there all day breathing it in. BEAUTIFUL medicine, so I am willing to bet my nar-nars you are going to be giving me Bud Envy too bro LOL. If you're smoking for your HEAD, that is one of the QUEENS.

I hope you get your Blue Dream leaning pheno bro! The LVBK so far has only two phenos I can tell apart. And I already KNOW the OGK-looking one with the more narrow leaves is going to be intense. I know that because I only got the one, the rest are all identical, perfect Bubba look... It's always the one you have the least of that's the most dank innit?!
 
kaBOOM! And they are already looking fat eh?! I got 100 percent females off reg seeds with the LVBK. I had to pop three more out the pack to try get a boy to marry to the Tahoe LOL... Good thing I only planted out 7 at first. I was hoping for 2 mums at least, I got 7.
 
Seven females should give you one hell of a mother plant.

I'm hoping to score a male or two as well, but I would be alright with all five being female.

We'll probably be seeing more sincity grows popping off once people get a load of what's cooking. Not to sound like a salesman, but I'm digging the product so far: fat healthy beans that bust as soon as you put in the napkin/water, from what I've read high female/male ratio(not sure if that is all dependent on environment or if genetics plays a part as well). I can't recall seeing a finished sincity grow on here at RIU, so here's to you and your pioneer run of LVBK, Mad Hamish.

Ole hamish got me to buy a pack of lvbk. I was just lookin at them thinking how big they are. Your dreaming Buddha big To then?
 
Yeah they're not to big. I started them in Light Warrior soil which is not amended with nutes, only worm castings and bennies.

I didn't realize that for first three weeks so that got a slow start, but once I fertilized them they took off. Plus needed them to veg slower due to time restrictions, so that is why they went into dirt. Normally it would have been done in dro and would be ready to go by now. Never typically have to veg over 30 days.

The grow logs is titled dumb, was stoned, but: "SHHHH, he is sleeping Buddha's dream". Got some pics there. 4/5 females in veg presexed. Feel free to check it out.

You won't be sorry... I vote it as the most DANK SMELLING REEFER of all time, at least it is in flower. And it's not one of those stinky chemmy or similar smells either. It is very Kushy but sweet, you can smell everything from berries to coffee to caramel and burnt sugar coming over a Kush base. SPECTACULAR. Serious frost too. The BP leaning pheno is a frost-MONSTER.

It just tends to not want to make branches too easily or very early on either, so keep that in mind when you run 'em. I'm definitely vegging my two chosen phenos for an SoG style run.
