Apologies for serial posting, but those are some very pretty flowers. What settings did you use on your camera? It does not look like a macro, which I would imagine, means that these flowers are more than very pretty; more like pure splendor itself.

Holy smokes, they have gone gangbusters! Do they still fit in the tent? How' s the odor control? Still working well?

Whatcha gonna do with all those loose leaves??? Huh? kiss-ass
I think you know what i'll do with the extras....;) :blsmoke:

Odor control is basically gone at this point. That carbon filter is pretty old though. It's probably done.

That first pic is a macro shot, but I have to severly lower the res to upload it onto here. Here is a cropped shot from a full res image.

Hi all. Well, the girls are harvested, dried, and in the jars curing. Final weight after 5 days of drying was 5.1 ounces. Looking back, I should have either grown fewer plants, or only used HPS 18/6 for them. They got a little tall, but they buds are absolutely gorgeous. Although, the taste is lacking just yet, it's a great smoke. We're talkin' narcotic high, for a couple of hours. Thanks to everyone for advice and tips and support. Here's the pics.

I used the full complement of BioBizz products, along with Fox Farms Open Sesame and Beastie Bloomz.
I thought you used bat guana too? Am I wrong?

Lovely, really lovely. Isn't it tempting to leave those jars out with all of your other kitchen goodies, like the legal herbs and things like that? So pretty, pretty, pretty!

It just makes me want to start cooking, though, looking at your photographs. (Now if I could figure out where I lost half an ounce in my own kitchen, I'd be a very happy cook indeed.)

Oh. Those loose leaves? How's that going? Seriously . . . . kiss-asskiss-ass

I made it a double, just to be safe, ya know?

Starting a new crop soon?

squishy, how many plants did you flower at one time in there? my understanding you had 10? i just dont see how you fit that many in there if so.

im surprised your nugs werent a little fatter since you used nutes, then again those were supposedly dwarfs.

the nugs didn't get fatter because I crowded the grow room. From the pics I had seen of the autoflowering variety, I didn't think they would get too big. If I would have not crowded the room, I would have had more big buds. There are a bunch of big ones in the pics. they're at the bottom.

10. Again, planning conservatively. I figured that not every one of them would be female, but they were.
Pessimistic much? You should have more faith in your seed company that you purchased from...they were feminized seeds :)

You should've experimented with your smallest plant and let it grow a week or so longer than normal. Snip off the banana sacks that begin to form and pollinate another plant sometime. Make feminized seeds of your own ;)

Howdy all. Although not my first grow, this will be my first grow journal. This grow will be approx 12 Buddah White Dwarf Fems from Dr. Chronic growing in Fox Farms Ocean Forest with perlite added in with some extra worm casings and bat guano. Nutrients are a five part series from BioBizz. These include BioGrow, BioBloom, Alg-a-Mic, TopMax, and FishMix. These are good, low-power organic nutes that are good for soil. I have used them on my last 2 grows with GREAT success. I only use them at half the recommended dosages. This will be my first attempt at autoflowering plants. Any and all advice and comments are welcome. I am going to start them on a MH 18/6 schedule at first, then move to a HPS 12/12 schedule when I get a warm and fuzzy about how they are working. If anyone else has a better recommendation, I would greatly appreciate it. As of this moment, 3 of my seeds have sprouted. I have a new ballast and bulbs, but everything else is my regular old stuff. I AM FORTUNATE TO HAVE A WIDE SELECTION OF GROW STORES WHERE I LIVE AND ALL HAVE KNOWLEDGABLE STAFF WHO HAVE HELPED ME AS MUCH AS THIS FORUM. I BUY VERY LITTLE FROM ONLINE STORES. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL GROW SHOP IF YOU HAVE ONE!!!!!!!!!!! My setup includes the following:

WARNING!!! I HAVE INSTALLED A 30 AMP BREAKER THAT IS DEDICATED TO THIS ROOM'S OUTLETS. IF YOU INTEND TO RUN A SETUP SIMILAR TO THIS, YOU SHOULD INSTALL, OR HAVE AN ELECTRICIAN INSTALL, A 30 AMP BREAKER TO RUN THE LOAD. A 30AMP BREAKER COSTS ABOUT 2 DOLLARS AND TAKES ABOUT 10 MINUTES TO SWAP OUT. BE SURE TO DISCONNECT MAIN POWER BEFORE DOING ANY WORK ON THE PANEL!!!

1.) Secret Jardin DR80 grow room

2.) 1 400W Sunlight Supply Sun System Harvest Pro Switchable Ballast

3.) 400W EYE Hortilux MH and HPS Bulbs

4.) Sunlight Supply Yieldmaster Enclosure with glass pane and 4" duct flanges.

5.) 4" Centrifugal Blower, rated at 400 CFM, attached to an Active Air carbon Filter

6.) 6" Suncourt Inline Duct Fan, rated at about 250 CFM?, attached to a Elf carbon filter

7.) seven day electronic timers from Lowes

8.) various testing equipment.

9) little ass tower fan for circ.

I will take pictures of the room tonight and get them posted up. I'm interested to see if they really will be ready in 8 weeks like they claim. Hope you guys enjoy my journal.:blsmoke:
Impressive grow! I've read through the entire thread and I am duly impressed. I've never given much credence to these grow tents, but this one looks amazing and I'm considering going with one on my first medical grow. I can't afford the cab I want right now, and I really don't want to build one, so this looks like it might work great for me.

Couple of questions. First, how much did all of the above supplies cost you? Roughly? How much did this grow run you if you estimate all costs?

Second, is that an ion generator sitting on the floor of the tent with your ladies? If so, what brand and such? I didn't see it on your list above.

Forgot another question I had. How is the odor situation with this tent? Is it sealed fairly well? What would you recommend for someone who cannot vent into an attic like you did?

The attic vent has a filter, too. I only run it to the attic for heat dissipation purposes. It keeps the room the grow room is in at a good temp. But I will say that a 400W lamp does generate alot of heat. If you can put in a window air conditioner or a portable unit, all heat problems solved.
There is no odor if you keep negative pressure on the room. That is the key. That's why I have that little inline fan on the floor outside the room with a cheap little carbon filter on it. It doesn't pull alot of air, but it pulls enough to keep negative pressure on the grow tent. If you don't use filters, that bitch will stink to high heaven. It will hit you in the face every time you walk in the door.
That little black thing on the floor is just a fan.
The only thing I bought new was the ballast and bulb, about $330 all together. Everything else is stuff I already had. My next grow will cost me, because I need new carbon filters. You could get everything I got for about $1200 or so, including nutes and soil/soiless mix. I also buy about 8 gallons of distilled water a week during bloom, so 8 bucks a week there. Electrical bill goes up a couple of dollars.

Any other questions, feel free to ask.
