Bud smells like gasoline

Got some from a friend who grows. Smelled like he stored it in a gasoline can. Got me high but left me with an incredible headache. Asked him if he sprayed it with anything or had it in his garage, he says no blah blah blah whatever. Headache lasted longer than my high lol. So any reason it would smell like gasoline naturally? Ive seen my fair share but never like this. Tho ive been "out of the loop" to say, for the past few years and only indulge on the bi-monthly baisis.

OUCH!!!

Bud stinks. Gasoline stink. Something is not right. I think I would have not smoked it. If it smelled like a skunk or other foul stuff count me in. I think it was real Gasoline. Hope you are ok.

I'm thinking it was gasoline as well. Lol I smelled it I was like huh has a hint of gasoline, still could smell the skunky aroma but yeah... I'm still fully functional at least just a few extra brain cells gone

I've had strains that smell like diesel. None of them should make your head hurt, though.

I have 5 auto white widows right finishing up their bottom half. At first the smelled like fruit but now the have a diesel/gasoline smell mixed with fruit. Crazy smell. But the high is great for an auto and the smell very unique. I love it. No headache however. Don't know what u had.

Jack Herer and Chemdawg (I've grown them both extensively) have trademark fuel scents which can be very potent if grown well. There are many other strains that exhibit this trait as well.
