So funny, because before I started growing I was told by many people that I have No patience. Growing weed has forced me to have patience. Because I hate headache weed at day 52 LOL.
It's not the weed. It's the chlorophyll. Old folks was right. It's worth the wait. Except the getting to be old folks part. LOL. Good day.

Nail on the head brother!:hump: Yes after a couple years of growing I learned let all my leaves (fan and mids) naturally fade out, essentially naturally expelling the chlorophyll, Yes? Anyway and always since, my buds are some of the best I ever smoked. And I grow it myself!!

I absolutely agree. Whoever said homegrown wasn’t good isint doing it right. A good cure goes a long way too. Something many large Licensed Producers have completely forgone

I made lids for mason jars, 1.25 gal buckets and 5 gal gamma lids with em tooView attachment 4781474View attachment 4781475View attachment 4781476View attachment 4781477View attachment 4781484

That is sweet. I'm old school. I go by actual RH inside and out to do the math on when and how long. I know what I get in the end. Maybe 6 weeks or 12 months to get it right. Automation defeats the purpose for me. And lowers the end quality. But love the set up and thought as well as skill.

I can’t take credit for the auto burping that was Derek Gilman aka the Bob Ross of cannabis! Here is a YouTube vid

as for the lids, I used plastic lids for mason jars. I never tried with the metal lids the jars come with.
So buy lids or food grade buckets with lids or gamma lids and 5 gal buckets for 1-2lbs. Either lid you choose the process is the same.

you will need:
Lids (Walmart/Amazon)
Rh/temp sensors (Amazon or Ali baba/Ali express/wish)
Hole saw (not sure what size, get sensor first!)
File (to make hole bigger if need be)
Super glue (for outside lid)
Fish tank silicone (for inside lid)

fish tank silicone on inside of lid. It cures fast and I figure if it doesn’t leech out into a fish tank filled with water and kill fish it should be ok once cured. Fish are sensitive 27CF981C-D56F-461E-9B5A-18CEE35759C2.jpeg

and fuck yo wine rack! I use a ghetto IKEA shoe rack to see all the sensors DFF53BDA-3965-4509-968C-6FF65876E6CF.jpeg

Thanks, I’m just trying it Out. I have the sensors on every bucket I can turn on or off any valve to any bucket. If one is higher or lower I can adjust valves for air flow I can get all my buckets within 1rh of each other. I still monitor daily I just don’t need to open 67 jars. As with mason jars the burping tapers off as time goes and yes sometimes it does take months to get the rh and feel where I like it. IMHO automation is not synonymous with lower end quality. That comes down to care and consistency. Automation can help the latter. But I do agree it can be a “lazy” trap for some. I also try to avoid boost/rh packs and use chucks of stems from the plant itself to add humidity if need be. I only automated it because I grew my outdoor in 30gal fabric pots and had way too much to jar. So I figured I would try it.
