Thanks for taking a look guys and your kind comments, they are appreciated:blsmoke:

Here are some shots of my mostly sativa blue weed that i just took out of a jar.
It is bone dry now and i am smoking it right now as i type this and i like it a lot more now its been jarred for a while.
Anyway this stuff may look a bit funky but it is solid hard nuggets and i mean solid hard and smokes lovely now, with a great high to.

Nearly all of the aniseedy smell has gone and only a light pleasant whiff of it is left.
This is a great weed for music or film watching, yeah i know they all are really but this is a great fantasy, book reading, music type weed, you know the kind where you have great ideas that mean crap the next day lol

I am wasted so basically this weed does what it looks like it does and i am sure no one would be disappointed to have a joint of this:blsmoke:

Heres a few more of the final straggler from my outside area now picking up nicely under the directness of the lamp, still has yellow leaves though and it would seem that they wont go away whatever i try.

Its the pppxblueberry but its the one that came out more sour than the the other stuff, probably more ppp in it than blueberry, still some good shit though and even though i will only get about half an ounce from it its still worth bothering with:blsmoke:

Hey N.
I don't know if I read it wrong but did you say 50 8ths so like 12z is this on one plant?
Also not to get to much in your B. but how much do you yield each time? I just can't imagen another 4 months. shi* I hate waiting 2 weeks for it to dry.lol- but I guess when you grow many many oz / lbs 3-4 a year I can see how someone can do this.
by the way is that a blunt in the back ground that I see?

Ive grown a 46 stem plant before using the fimming technique.

Once each bud stem was dry i got about an eighth of bud or slightly less from each stem with some of the larger stems weighing nearer to a quarter but this was under fluro tubes and a 500 watt halogen bulb so i am expecting much better results with my proper lights.

I am hoping that with my new hps lamp and more knowledge than i had before and my new pot design i can easily create a 50 stem plant that will produce at least 1 eighth per stem.
I abandoned this method before for several reasons.

1.Took ages.
2.Used all of my space up and i couldn't grow any other varieties.

I am hoping that with my now proper lamp and my new pot that i have designed(probably)(someone may have done it before for all i know)that i can speed this technique up by 4 weeks overall.

The new pot that i have designed is a medium sized plastic storage box that i bought for 1.99 and i have made a design using this container that i think will increase the speed of the grow.
The total cost of this grow container all parts and medium to fill it will be about 15 quid,30 dollars.

I am going to keep the details of this container a secret for a few more weeks yet though and i promise to reveal all of my ideas with full details and photos and then you can all judge for yourself and like i said my miracle pot may well suck yet for all i know and i think you'll find that 50 eighths is getting on for 7 ounces.

Plants grown in this manner require support and tieing off and i have yet to see whether my new seeds will even respond well to fimming for all i know they will hate it or die even.

I intend to use the ppp x blueberry x triploid mostly sativa male seeds and because the sativa was well happy with fimming i am hoping that this will have been bred into the pppxblue as neither the original ppp or blueberry liked fimming very much.

Most of my stuff gets smoked pretty quickly but i always make sure i leave at least 1 jar for the full 4 months.
Yields are different for all plants that i grow but fimmed plants always yield a lot more anyway,i don't really know why but i know that they do as i can see that they do.

You will have to let me know where you think you can see a blunt:blsmoke:

Glad you're taking my advice on tying your plants up nat'...

Also, halogen? You have no exhaust system, how did you manage to not fry the plant?

I used a 500 watt halogen rig from b&q that cost 5.99 inc bulb.
Had to wire it up meself and then i suspended it from the ceiling on metal wires.
I had the lamp about a metre maybe a bit less away from the tops of the plant.
The halogens definitely help during flowering but i had to buy new bulbs every 2-3 weeks but then again they were only 99p each so i wasn't bothered at the time.

I just used to leave the cupboard door open basically and whiff the door back and forth every hour or 2:mrgreen:
I am well high tech here lmfao:mrgreen:

I wouldn't usually tie a plant but when you fim so vigorously and the buds start to weigh in theres a real possibility for stems to snap of as i only have about 2" of lower stem above the ground then 50 stalks coming off of it.
Snapping becomes a real concern.

All though halogen can be useful during flowering if you only have a few fluro tubes and no cash i am 100 times happier with the hps light i bought so i wouldn't recommend halogens unless your truly skint.:blsmoke:

So when you grew this 46 stem plant, with each stem weighing in (dry weight) at an 1/8th to a Q with fluoros and a 500w halogen bulb... did you tie the stems then?

I'm sure I remember you saying that a plant should be able to stabilise itself, else you get fluffy bud, not tight little nugs.

So, are you still saying it's bad to tie your plants up in flower or not?

Also halogen puts out far more heat than light. 500w from a meter away doesn't add up to a lot of light, but it does add up to a lot of heat. to which you have no way of venting.

Did you have an accurate set of scales at the time of the weigh in? Did you weigh the plant while it was still in the pot?

An important point would also be that it took 4 months of veg and about 2 months or so of 12/12 to get that with fluros and halogens to grow that big.

Its a total myth that halogens are total crap and they do emit a fair amount of usable light especially during flowering and helped a lot in comparison to only having 2 fluro tubes.
Yes i did tie the 46 stem plant up as soon as the outer branches began to droop slightly under their own weight i tied them off loosely so they would still wobble a bit and also so that more light could penetrate the middle stems.

I could see the difference that the halogen made for myself.
Here is a light chart that shows that halogens do emit some usable light all though no where near as good as a hid lamp but when combined with fluro tubes they do work, useless for veg time though.

I only own cheap inaccurate cooking scales as i previously already stated the final bud when dried completely went from 31 grams to 15 grams according to argoses cheapest cooking scales anyway.
I had hoped that it wouldn't lose quite so much weight as it did.

Some people like to tie them up others don't.
Plants grown to such a size in a small area using heavy fimming require tieing its not a choice but not until the branches are to heavy to support themselves and not before.

I wont get into any more pointless arguments with you.
I am sorry that i offended you so much when i said your buds looked fluffy in the past maybe it was just that your pics were from a distance.
All the advice that i have ever read or seen states not to tie unless you have to as it may cause fluffy buds thats all and like you already said it was a kind of weed that genetically fluffs up a bit and i believed you when you said that:blsmoke:

You may also be interested in the fact that halogens emit a lot of uv light.

Some tungsten-halogen bulbs need better UV shields - ultraviolet rays

Manufacturers and importers of some tungsten-halogen bulbs in desk lamps should redesign their products to shield users from ultraviolet (UV) radiation, FDA told the firms in a letter last May 15.
The agency took this action after confirming findings in a report from Australia that the bulbs may emit significant amounts of UV radiation. This radiation can increase the risk of skin cancer and can produce sunburn in some individuals after several hours of exposure at close range.
Tungsten-halogen bulbs consist of a tungsten filament inside a quartz envelope filled with a halogen gas. They operate at high temperatures and elevated pressures. (Bulbs with envelopes permanently mounted inside enclosures with glass lenses, such as sealed-beam automobile headlights, pose little or no risk because their enclosures absorb the UV radiation.)

Was all kinds of left over crap from rolling it up:mrgreen:
You could probably scrape my keyboard and get wasted on it to be honest:joint:
