it looks brownish... and gets slimy after time bc it rots out and eats everything like cancer... dusty dark then mushy brown

Found some pics from last season, it's after I ripped of most of it but you can see it's starting to make a come back. Not the best pic for an example but it's all I got for bud rot pics.

cut it out like cancer with sterilized scissors. that worked for me.

You don't have to sterilize your scissors.

That sucks. What causes bud rot? What precautions can you take? I'm a first time grower, using my outdoor greenhouse. Just curious, cheers.

Well for starters, bug shit, bird shit, morning dew, dead leafs and heavy rains.

All the stuff that dreams are made of--pity. My greenhouse is well sealed and ventilated, and I keep a few fly traps up in the corners. I take it if you keep your grow area clean, you'll more than likely be all right. Just my paranoid self always worried about the kids futures. Thanks Northeastern lights, cheers.

No problem bro. Greenhouse is the way to go, but even still I would still look threw them when they get some weight to em'.
