Buckets went dry

I agree with you grow your way. Plants are pretty tough. The roots that reach the bottom will still be able to drink till the very end. and keep the rest of the root out of the water alive. I have had plants in much worse condition and they bounced back within hours. The next day i was unable to tell it happened at all. Post an update photo, im curious how well it bounces back. best of luck. And check on the plants a little more regularly.
Ok so when i look after lights being off there perfect....when i look after lights have been on i see this20190118_061359.jpg...too much light? It only on the front 2 that buckets went empty. 1000w hps in 4x4 room. Looked back at posts renfro said to dim light and i forgot think this is the prob?

I've also found with topping and more controlled growth i.e removal of branches I deem unworthy the roots will grow considerably three ladies and the one I fimmed the shit out of has a 3 gallon bucket shaped root ball and the b1 and silica may have something I'd have to look back into their benefits can't remember offhand but a question how does the foliage and plant growth look compared to your led grow I assume same genetics just curious about your results
Also with my led granted i was useing mars hydro 192 wich is about 420 actual watts and 2 300 w mars wich is only 150 actual watts each so a little over 700 actual watts. I just cant see me putting the big money down on the name brand led yeah there way better than mars but the highly debated question are they better than hps or cmh and if they are are they $1000 better...imo there not . but anyways with my 8 grows with my led....this is last led grow... Hula haze dynagrow veg and bloom ionic pk boost....20181122_062130.jpg...could never get dense buds airy as fuck had big buds but no weight. Had 4 plants and got about 7 oz20181128_054237.jpg fire tho. But im hopeing the hps tightens em up

But on the topic of lights I just went cheap this time 3x vipar r300 until I got my environment dialed in then looking into either a BDL or some kind of diy QB or a prebuilt one but now you've got me thinking about gavita de750

Overwatering in DWC is a lack of air to the roots...sorry I wasn't specific
Ok that makes sence...this is gonna sound wierd but im gonna try to make sence...i have a heavy curtin for my flower room door i put a box fan at the bottom when light is on so its venting the air from the bottom. The 2 that are drooping are closest to the fan im wondering if the warm air is just circulating at the top of those 2. Anyways i turned the fan around and made a gap at the top to see if the different airflow would make a difference. I hope that made sence lol

UPDATE... So sence my buckets only had an inch of water in them i assumed the problem was lack of water...but after examining my flower room i realised with having my exhaust fan pulling air out from the bottom was bringing the hot air right down on my fron two plants...turned fan around so its blowing in and vented the top so the hot air escapes up top...problem solved. Thanks all for helping20190122_062419_HDR.jpg 20190122_061956.jpg 20190122_061718.jpg

I see some burnt leaf margins of some of the growth. Thats likely a potassium deficiency if it keeps progressing. If so you may have to raise the pH a little. Could just be from excess heat, with your fan blowing the proper direction this shouldn't get worse if the problem was heat.

Glad you found the solution. Happy growing!

I think its both heat and ph... My ph pen kept jumping around couldn't get a clear reading. I fixed it and im between 5.6 and 5.9 in all buckets. I feed b1 boost i think thats potassium supplement but would have to look again just know it promotes root and foilage growth

your gonna miss your leds after your first hps grow. Led's gives an awesome high. I'm using (2) mars hydro 2 1600w I believe. Terrible company, avoid like the plague btw. I have paired them with 2 600 w hps. I'm trying to get the best of both worlds. At least I was until my plants got killed by my attempts to rid them of spider mites.

So I just made my new setup and I have to start over from seed. I'm pretty bummed, that glueberry and OGkush was awesome.
Anyway...... if I had to start over with new lightening I would buy a piece of rigid 6 or 8 inch duct. Then I would buy my own drivers and cobs. I would affix the cobs to the duct itself and put the drivers inside the pipe. When it is hooked up to my ventilation extraction it will produce very little noise and almost all heat will be removed.
Don't buy brand name led systems. They are not designed to work with air cooling, which is dumb, and they do still create a lot of heat. I was looking online on building your own led system, and it looked super simple. I would be happy to spend the manufactures cut on me and still get better diodes. Also if any part ever fails you will be able to repair it, since it was you whom built it in the first place.
If anyone is from Ottawa canada and has 4 DANK ladies to gift, I would love to love you forever. That is if you have 4 ladies that are extra and you could part with them. Maybe barter for a little ganja?

My reflector 192 is only 400W. Anyway, it is a worthy light for the price.
