I have these strange bubbles on my leaves, and after hours of searching have found nothing about them On the web. Its only on some leaves, and affects no single particular area that I can see. Just randomly here and there.

Well I know it's not the light, the top leaves are fine. LED light 16" away. No heat on my hand when I hold it over the plant for 30 seconds.

temp is 78 for 20 hours of light, 70 for 4 of dark. Veg stage Obviously.

Soil grown. Nutrients are right (I believe anyways... 30-10-10 for veg), proper Ph for the nutrient water.

Relative humidity of 60% - 70%.

Air circulation is as good as it can get. Oscillating fan not directly pointed at plant (wind still rustles leaves, but avoids wind burn) and an out take fan to remove stale air.

Only have 1 going at the moment, as its only for personal use.

drainage in the soil isn't great I'll admit. But its not bad either.

Any ideas?

Pictures of the entire plant would help. But it looks like you're fine. I've had a few strains do that and I'll never know why and they produced just fine. Get that drainage issue fixed, cannabis hates wet feet and enjoy your grow.

It is pretty common to get bubbly or wrinkled leaves on young fan leaves that are going to get huge. When they do get huge the bubbles get stretched out and the leaf goes flat.

I have also seen this same look on leaves that I suspected were not getting all the oxygen they wanted which would speak to your thoughts on adding aeration or perlite.

Lastly, it could also be a genetic mutation that is getting repeated in random places, like a 4 point leaf or other odd ball leaf. It is usually not a problem but would not make for a good mother plant if you have others not doing this. Probably not the best pheno for selection.

Thanks, any way to fix the drainage without digging up the plant?

Well I think I need to modify the room a bit to allow more fresh air IN. So oxygen deficiency could be the problem.

Or it could be a seriously mutated plant :P there are a lot of weird leaves. I'll include some photos of the whole plant.

Is there any way to fix the drainage without digging up the plant to remix the soil?

You seem to have a decent amount of perlite in your soil so I don't think you have to do anything. I think this is a non-issue, the best kind of issue to have!

I have an amazing Kosher Kush plant that was simply weird from day one. She is the best smoke I have, definitely some of the best I've ever smoked. She tastes second only to a Michoacan I had in 1976. If I'd thrown away a strange looking runt I wouldn't have her.

My plants slow down with wet feet so I'd repot and lighten your mix if you see a drainage issue. But that is my experience in soilless. I'm sure the soil gurus will be along to help.

I agree with you. I couldn't see anything that said that to me but I do not know soil.
