I was wanting to know about the water level of the system from seedling. I was going to make my own with just air stones no sumerged pump. I was wondering from seedling can I do it without a pump to keep them wet. Can I do this or should I start in rockwool and clay pellets in a party cup until roots are a few inches long then put in system so the roots are for sure touching water and nutes. Also how long should I run the pumps for air stones is it a few hours a day or all day or what. I'm just starting to think about this for my next setup cause soil sucks damn gnats. And everything I have seen it doesn't say about seedlings unless I use a pump to water the cubes so any info or a link would help.thanks for the info
