My ph is 5-6.5 fine my temps 20-30 fine humidity is 30-60%.

I have a 24L tank filled with 10L of CF18 28.3.20 or something like that using 2 part nutes.
They are organic apprently not sure what this means or if it matters?

Iv grown two full sized fast growth plants with exactly the same setup and it worked fine.

The only major difference is the addition of a fan and attempting to grow twice as many plants, also I replaced the white paper I was using as a reflective with mylar.

The problem is I think I burnt them early then underfed them, or I just didnt start feeding them early enough with a large enough supply.
I think so because of the symptoms.

Dry thick funny shaped leaves unevenly growing.
Meristem/shoot points lifts upwards, whitens.
Pale / chlorotic meristem growth (shoot).
Poor root growth not many hairs kinda funny coloured.
Leaves further down go pale and die, they dont dry up though.
When they do start growing the growth is ultra dense but then its starts with the weird even whitening from the new growth out, at the top.

Also when they do grow they are more thicker denser growths very compact short nodes etc than what they should be / were last time.a

When I change the res and bumped up the CF from 10 to 20 (20 being full recomended strength). I get alot of rapid growth then the center of the shoot area pales and things start going down hill again.

Now I think the problem is that I have too many plants in a small res.

However I cant understand why all of my plants have grown about a foot high and fail at developing any further size.
Should I keep adding nutes to ramp it up to 20, its at 18 now?

They are drinking about a L a day when they first start growing after the res change. But the CF value went from ~18 to 20 in a day, so this means they are drinking water but not nutes?

I dont understand whats wrong at all, at first they might look like they are nute burning but then they look deficent.

I started using the recomended dose of some 6% H2O2 with silver which hasnt seemed to help much yet.

Sorry cant get any pics yet.

sounds like ya rez is to small m8! get a bigger tank or circulate though a hedder tank or thats what i think it sounds like?
also bubbler pots do normaly need to be weaker than recomendied bottle strenght, or so i found.

Just as a sidenote I plan on using this system for getting quick vege growth and cuttings.

I dont really have anymore room unless I get a higher tub, which I will have a look for.
Going to take out two of the crappest plants and see if that helps, it better but then I might as well ditch them all and start again with fresh seed.
Should I?
Or I have one plant I really like its got the best growth and hairs confirm its a female.
Should I ditch all of them except this one female?
Or will the crappy start to life permantly dull any smoke produced from this plant or cuttings of it in the future?

Does anyone else have any experience with small res?

you could change your rez every day, this might help. without pic's its hard to know whats going on or give good advise!
but like you say the strength changes in 1 day, so the PH will probaly shift quite a lot in 1 day!
10L for 4 plant is only 2.5L a plant, I have used 2L 3L 5L and a 55L bin all bubblepots to test and trust size matters!

I recommend getting or using 32 6500k cfl maybe like 4-6 for a 2x2 area for the vegging and adding some 2700k bulbs for flowering, more lights=more growth. Most cfls put out lumens 1-2 inches away from bulb any farther they decrease rapidly so have the plant close and have a fan blowing past the lights to keep it cool. So if you plant is 3feet tall the only buds that will have enough light to keep growin will be by the bulbs and the lower will turn light yellow, trying to stay alive. As for the res maybe add more air stones to increase the oxygen levels in the res. I am using a 20 dollar air pump dual outlet with 2 airstones in a 5 gallon bucket. Hope this helps.

for 6 plants i use an 85 litre res, the ideal for 1 plant is 15litres, i would agree with getting a bigger res, gd luck mate.

Cheers yea I think its just a res size issue.

Would be great if I can ride the beast but o well chop chop time

Iv got a 135w 6400k cfl and 3*24w cfls I cant get any more lights into the space not enough room. Lightings great using mylar etc

Has anyone else tried using a smaller than sensible res?

pH climbed quite high.
Added more vege and a bit of bloom nutes.
The top 2 levels of leaves have gone white now.
Might bin the PPP unsexed and the speedqueen of unknown origin, tomorrow.
