Bubble System

I just ordered bubbleponic system from Stealth Hydroponics. I was wondering if I'd leave this system on all the time or does it go along with the lighting regime? All help is appreciated, thank you!

These are really easy to make. The Airstone for the system stays on all the time and supplies the nutrients/water with constant oxygen. The roots just hang from the net pot into the oxygenated water..
