strictly hearsay - i was under the impression that autoflowers werent as potent as normal pot plants. this would lead me to believe that the would not be good hash-producing plants.
there isnt any strict table that tells you X oz's of herb will make xoz's of hash. it depends on the strain, the nutes, the lighting, and so many other factors you just cant get a definitive answer.

i cant speak from experience yet, but from what i have been reading, the autos seem to have come a long way.... you are correct about the original lowryder... i have heard nothing but reviews stating that it had sub-par smoke.... but LR2 was a bit better, with the yield and potency....
nowdays; you have all of these different crosses... even entire seed companies wholly dedicated to autoflowering plants.. havent heard too much bad about the "lowlife" strains... seems to be decent smoke, averaging around an oz per plant..
could just be that most of the people that grow autos are newbs to the whole grow scene.... but i highly doubt that
.... i am itching to give the autos a shot sometime soon.... hopefully this summer outdoors

i wanna try them too. i just dont think they would be the greatest chioce for hash production IMO, i would go with a proven resin producing monster.

so you are basically still saying that they arent that potent?? "a proven resin producer"?? the psychoactive alkaloids such as THC are ONLY produced in the resin heads.....

im aware that thc and all the other good stuff is only in the trichs. im also aware of the advances made with autoflowering plants. im just saying that if i were growing for hash production i would not choose autos.

i think you get back like 10-15% in bubble hash.. never been too precise when weighing mine and i just use dried sugar leaf, popcorn buds and shake. never good buds
448grams in a lb so youd need like... -5000grams of dried material to start out with (like 178oz, or 11 lbs)
iv heard they make at least an oz a plant and some say if your good u can get 3oz... but if ur a noob, plan on about 1oz of bud and .5oz of trim from each plant

so assumign u get 1.5oz of dried material per plant... youd need around 100 autoflowers to make a pound of bubble hash (order 200 seeds)
