I made a bubble cloner like some many people on here make and it worked like a charm!! In 8 days I had roots... I just put 2 in dirt today and the others will be going in dirt soon. The 2 that went in today had really nice white and long roots. I just wanted to say thanks to all the people that put there ideas and creations on this site. kiss-ass

Here is some pics at day 8. I will put more pics up soon to show how they are doing now.

Here are some pics of the old plants and the 2 new ones in the cloner now. There is nute burn on some of the clones due to my dumb ass. :dunce: The mother was feed to much of the good stuff before I
got the clones off of her...
I just made the move to all Botanicare nutes. I was using foxfarm stuff. I can't wait to see the difference in the plants.

who's plans did you copy it from,.. can you post a link,.... give us a little more details, do you put anything in the water, what kind of cloning gel or solution do you use,... by the way how do you get the roots out of those baskets? i would just use the neoprene groumets with no basket, if youre going to put them in dirt

hey bro are your stems in the water when the lid is down or are the stems just above the water??

So you just have a air pump with a airstone and thats it huh. well im going to make it:hump::hump:

later
At first the water was really close. Now it is about 2 in away. If it is under water it would still be cool man. As long as you have bubbles and lots of them you are cake... I will take a pic of the pump and the stones in the cloner tomorrow so you can see what I have. Thanks for posting.

I didn't get the plans from just one person. I just made what I thought would work from what I read.. I do not put anything in my water. I don't use cloning gel. If the plant wants to live it will just root or die.. I clone my first 6 will 100% of them with roots.. I don't think you need the nutes of anything else to make roots happen. That is what I have read and what I have be able to do. I use the baskets do to the easy of getting them in and out of the cloner. They just make it simple for me. Just don't forget to make the bottom of the basket large enough to get the roots out or keep the cutting just above the bottom of the basket. Very good questions Hat!! I will post more pics so you can see how I did it and what I use to make it run. Thanks

Here are some pics of the cloner and bubbler.

I built the cloner from a small rubber maid tub from wal-mart. I cut 6 holes in it for my net cups then mylared it. I used foil tape on the outside edges to help the mylar stay down. I all so sprayed adhesive on the lid to help keep the mylar in check. The adhesive also came from wal-mart. The bubbler is from petco ($25). I got the three stones from petsmart, I just liked them better than the long ones from petco or wal-mart. The bubbler has 4 air ports on it. Two of stone got its on line and the 3rd got 2 ports. I just used a T to connect the ports and ran one line to the stone in the cloner.
