Bubble Clone, lookin all funky. no pics yet. curly leaves

ive been trying to clone this 1 cutting with a DIY bubbler system(very small scale).

do to inexperience, i think i set the initial water level too low and some air got in, maybe.

but anyway, im about 2 weeks in and have ZERO root shutes, the whole base is covered with what apears to be root buds. i mean its fat and healthy down there. no elongation at all, but the whole "root area" looks like its covered with barnacles.

the stem has a big swollen spot right below the first node, the node stems are coming out at 90 degrees, and theres slight swelling at the nodes (cuasing the odd leaf angle i think)

but all the small new growth leaves are refusing to open, and coming in like friggin corkscrews. and theres almost NO new growth.

so is it air in the veins?

is it savable?

should i chuck it and try again?

transplant to soil?

ive deffinatlt got some ph issues, im gonna hafta test everything.

oohhh jeez im using like 4 diff potting mixes, this is gonna be a friggen nightmare.

ive switched the bubbled one with the funky root thing over to a non bubbled cup

its puttin out some tiny roots already less than 24 hours, bout damn time.

the one that was in the non bubbled cup with its 1 little baby root hair i moved to the bubbled one.

maybe thats the trick for me
