bubble bag vs. wacky bag

I have been looking into getting a ice extraction set up, either in the 1 gallon or 5 gallon size. I have noticed that a set of 5 gallon bubble bags at my local head shop is $175.00. I also noticed that I can get a set of wacky bags online in the same size for like $35.00 plus shipping. I just was wondering if anyone has experience with these 2 sets and why the bubble bags are so much more than wacky bags. Is the final product any better with bubble bags? Is the build quality any different? thanks for the help

you will get what you pay for... when the wacky bags stitching comes undone after a few runs... youll know why they are called wacky bags

I bought the 30$ bags on ebay, and since they were cheap.. I didnt give a fuck about them and was hard on them. I think I had them topped off at one point with ice on their 3rd use, and about wal mart bag full of wet trim in them... that poor bag must have weighed 40 lbs. and I did the whole jerk motion up and dowwnards too getting the water out a bunch of time... almost watching to see if it was ripping (very surprised they didnt) and there was nothing. I dont use them very much though.

but at a price difference of 35$ vs 175$... id buy 5 sets of the ebay ones!!

not too sure about the quality of the hash though.. id imagine that 95% of the hash has to do with starting material and mixing techniques/water ice levels and temp moreso than the bag itself (screen wise) as far as the stitching goes... well just be easy on them and how do they ever rip?? just buy more wash bags if thats the problem. shouldnt ever be ripping anymore than that.... if you got so much hash in your other bags that the stitching is ripping then you got other problems!!! haha

My wacky bags had a coating on the inside of the bags that visually started to peel off on the 25 bag after two runs. I'm sure some of that rubber coating made it into my hash without me knowing it on the first two runs. I was given a set of field trip brand bags at my hydro store and they did not have a coating. I bought an original bubble bags 45 bag and it was not any better than the field trip but was double the price. I guess it depends on the knock off that you buy but if I were buying online I would spring for the originals because my experience with coated bags is that they are no good.

Fuck that Wacky ass Willy shit.

I don't like dishonest people or business. These guys are not honest folks.

I bought a stainless pollen press from them recently. I picked these guys because I was under the impression they made their own product. At least in this case. What I ended up getting was a re-branded Sharpstone press. I am pretty sure it is a real Sharpstone and not a fake. I do have a lingering question about it though.

The press had Wacky Willy stickers covering the real brand. So did the box. I am bummed because I wanted to help a mom and pop type place. It ended up being a bit more expensive than buying a real Sharpstone press off ebay due to shipping etc. I had to wait several extra days to get it too over ebay.

Buyer beware.
