Bubble Bag Question

G'day

I've read in various places that you can use fresh bud in bubble bags to make hash.
I've also read that thc activates at 50degrees celcius, which happens when you smoke, vape, cook, etc.

Do you need to do something extra before or after making the bubble hash to make sure its as potent as possible?

Would it be worth putting the bud in the oven for a couple of minutes at 50 to activate it before putting it into bubble bags?

Cheers

Hi Grinch, once you've collected the hash from the bag all you need to do is let it dry on some cardboard or such like.

You don't want to heat it, in fact a lot of people freeze it first so the trichomes come away easier.:peace:

exactly. getting the trichomes cold enough to fall off is the whole point. that would effectively kill the propostition of heating plant matter before they went into the bags :hump:

I just used a 5gal set of bubble bags to make some hash from three, four foot purple diesel clones.. the hash i produced was dark green.. even the white bag and the money bag.. the water was black... is this normal?.. my hash normally turns out light amber colored.

You said yourself, it's normally amber/tan. Sounds like something went wrong somewhere, were you stoned at the time?;-):peace:

I guess so, not good if it is, you'll soon know when you smoke it. If it tastes like crap I wouldn't smoke it for your sake.:spew:
