Hey folks,
Much appreciation for the nice comments and I hope everyone is having a great weekend. :joint:

So, 10 days after flipping the lights back to 12/12, I have confirmed Pandora's Box #'s 6,7,8, and 9 are males, and only #10 is a girl. I already went through the first half of my 10 pack and only got 1 female from those 5 seeds as well. I'll probably throw pics of that 1st female into this thread as well so that we can see the comparison in phenotypes. That plant is in a 5 gal pot of supersoil and just went into budding this week. I will say however that almost every boy from the 10 pack had a great smell, and some of them fit what I would think would be good criteria for a breeder male (tight structure, late sex indication, etc...) but I just don't feel ready to make seeds yet. Maybe after some more years of growing I'll start looking at making some seeds to play around with, but for now.....I'll just buy TGA :blsmoke:.

Here is a pic of the plants from left to right is plants #6-#10. The first 4 (#6-#9) are boys and the last one one the right is the lovely lady. Individual shots coming...

If this one plant seems a little small, it's because it is. I was being a little absent-minded while pulling the plants out to check for pre-flowers about 5 days ago..;.and dropped this little guy. It got a little uprooted and bent, but sprang back pretty quickly. This male had a nice smell, but not as strong as the others and had kinda long internodes.

This boy has some nice structure and a great smell as well. I feel kinda bad giving him the ax... BTW- all boys have been placed in my main bud-room to make 100% sure they are boys....but I'm pretty sure at this point.

Hey Bshdctr - I know you are looking to get a lot of oil from this crop. Are you thinking of taking some cuttings to get your plant count back up to 3? If your other PB was just flipped to 12/12 you could probably get a couple decent cuts off her still. Just a thought...

This male has a very similar structure and smell as the #7, but as you can see, the flowers were slower to emerge so I would think this could be my male that hypothetically could be a good breeder? Under the naked eye this is easier to see the male pre-flowers...but just in case I'll be watching it for a few more days to make sure.

Yeppers, there are 2 clones already rooted and vegging in 1 gal's from my first girl (Pandora #4) just in case this very scenario happened. :)

This boy is the one that has had slight mutations in the leaves. It also has more of an Indica structure to the leaves. Smells nice, but not as strong as the #7 and #8.

And finally here is the pretty lady. I know the pre-flowers are hard to see, but they are there and 100% female for sure. She has a beautiful smell of mostly skunk and lemons. I topped it after this picture was taken. I took down so it was only left with 2 sets of nodes, so that the plant will develop 4 heads. Pics coming soon of transplant into 10 gal with SuperSoil and then it will get vegged to a big bush before budding.

Hey Bshdctr - that's a fine looking lady you have there! Nice quality pics too. Seems like your new camera is treating you well. I'm looking forward to watching this girl grow up and show her stuff...

Thanks Medshed,
I am working at the camera skills, just playing around with lighting, setting, etc... I will be getting a tripod here soon and I hope that combined with the timer will make for some good shots once she is in flower.

Subbed up. I ran PB a while ago, and currently have 5/5 females going on their 7th day of flower after a 10 week veg. Some are just FIMed, some are topped and LSTed into a SCRoG.

Lookin forward to the coming months.

What going on good people. Hope that your Sunday is filled with good things and even better cannabis. :joint:

I transplanted the Pandora #10 this morning to it's final home, a #10 nursery pot layered with Supersoil and plain Roots Organics soil. The pictures almost make the pot look more full with supersoil then I put in.....but I would say it was around 55%. Depending on when the plant fades out...I'll adjust SS amounts for this pheno on the next run.

Temps in veg room have been upper 70's and humidity in 40's. The plant has been getting plain water ph'd to 6.5-7.0 when dry and one watering with Myco Madness at 1/2 tsp per gallon the night before transplant. So far Pandora's Box has been a pleasure to grow.:weed:

The other female I was blessed with from my 10 pack is 1 week into flower, and it smells incredible already....I'll post pics of that one soon.
Take care everyone! Hope that your day where ever you are is as beautiful as it is here in the Colorado front range today!

how do you get those leaves so big? is it different going from seed then from clone?
Yes, they act a little different....these seeds have been vigorous from day 1 but the plant was also much larger and then I topped it aggressively (like in Sub's first DNA Afghani video)....so that could be why the leaves seem big. Also in one of Jorge Cervantes' videos this summer, he showed how too hot of temps will reduce leaf size. This plant has not been above 78 degrees so I think that helps.
Peace!
