Bruh's Beans

Thanks for stopping by, say hi! :bigjoint:

Sorry nothing for sale. I wanted a dedicated thread for what will likely become a lot of poorly documented grows of some beans that have been made.

First to show is a cross called bubbly
pre98 x mimosa
This particular bubbly pheno is a very squat and colorful one. It's only the second time I've seen this one come up in as many rounds of testing where 2 were spotted.

She got rained on by some chemD bananas that I've had in my freezer since 2009 :hump:.

Hard to tell if any calyx have taken to seed but it's early.

The latest round of bubbly testers were not defoliated but lowers were cleaned up.

Sorry for the yellow :blsmoke:

much more to come

There really isn't a whole lot to share yet
Green and purple representation of the squat pheno of the bubbly (pre98 x mimosa)

Same plant as in first post, pistils showing promise of producing ((pre98 x mimosa) x chemD) fems

Got a pack of Macdawg from GPS that are swimming. Once they sport tails they're going into some dwc. I'll include a bit of everything in this thread.

Some mimosa dust collected and at the ready.
Stuff approaching a year in age.
Hitting my keeper mimosa girl once she's ready :hump:
F2 Party
I'll get a pic of her up later, she roots and grows as good as any of them. Dense flowers, great coverage, pleasant terps, decent head, can't complain.
Potency doesn't come near a chemD but it's a very nice variety for any time of the day.

2nd round of bubbly testers expressing a variety of phenos, if stability is what you seek move along
taller golfball pheno, looks like easy trimming
not much in color but the nugs are fairly dense, they could be larger and the spacing could be tighter
would not be upset with a canopy full but won't be keeping
smells like ripe cantaloupe with a bit of a sharp bite not my fav smell but pleasant

Sorry about the lights.
Here is a fresh round of mimosa coming up behind bubbly testers (2nd round) which are nearing harvest.
Day temps reach about 60f. Normally it hovers around 57f. Night temps dip into the 30s.
While cold temps slow growth rates it also prevents high temps robbing us of those tasty volatile terps

Bubbly on flushmode looking at a valentines or sooner harvest

.....Next round of mimosa pics to come, I owe HydroRed some pics of the males we found. Looks like we have 3 boys and 2 girls. Feet on everything but the last male.. which is the one I was eyeing so it might have to be revisited. I'll get your guys' n gals' input on males. Will be hard to unseat the keeper girl but i'm looking forward to seeing what these other females have in the deck.

The ones that have rooted blew out thick white spaghetti at about 55f canopy 78f venturi :hump:

That bubbly really is a lovely plant.

Really can't go wrong with bubba and the mimosa though. Great work @CannaBruh

Thanks for the kind words.

A down side of the bubbly cross is that no two have really came out alike. No plant has came out heavily dominant leaning towards either parent. I see pieces from each parent in some but there are some that are expressing things not seen in either parent.

I didn't keep any from this round but that is more a choice of needing space to dig through more seeds than not being happy with how they turned out.

So many beans to run. :eyesmoke:

T -4 days to chop
I didn't count the flush days but it was 14+ if pressed to guess we could say just shy of 3weeks. Distilled water ph'd ~6.

Bubbly nearing harvest. Those which appear to be only a few weeks in are my keeper mimosa.
eh could've done better, temps have been in the 50s - 60s most of this run

The size of the rootzone is what's killing me. 32oz of coco is the largest container.
Cycling those small containers out and moving forward with ~1gal.
