brown spots on only one of my plants

I had the exact same symptoms on a few plants. The browning started on the middle/tips of the big fan leaves in late flowering and developed into big red/dry spots drying out the leaves.
My soil contained plenty of finely ground dolomite lime, which made me believe that the problem wasnt caused by a cal/mag issue. I think its rust fungus...
