Brown/ orange buds 3 days into drying

I am 3 days into drying my critical kush by hanging on a rack and have noticed them turn a brown/ orange colour! The buds are fat and dense and don't understand why this is happening. They smell very good still. They were grown in a tent under 2 X 600 watt lights with a fan constantly running. The only thing that I can think of was at the 1st week of flowering they had thrips and I treated the plants with organic solution from my local hydroponics shop and that sorted the problem out! Any help would be appreciated as I am at my wits end. They had good feeding routine throughout and I cut down at day 55 after flushing. Does this mean that my yield is useless and should be discarded?

as long as it smokes ok theres no problem
my Critical kush took 12wks, did you only have 1 pheno ?

Thank you for the replies. I had 3 plants in a tent with 2 x 600 watt lights. By the end of week 7 they were fat buds and falling over with weight and 70% brown hairs and lots of milky trichomes! This is my 4th grow and I have roughly 7 to 8 ounces per plant....they just drying brown for some reason but still dense buds

Thank you for that :-) I guess I panicked a little as its only my 4th grow and first time with this strain and not really seen the buds change colour so much! I will let them dry now for another week!

yeah, I see ambering in the pistils but that's to be expected, the calyxes still look nice and green and the whole bud looks great.. awesome job.

...drying and curing... slow and steady...
