Brother Mendel's Selections

Random pollen chucks from small selection pools. Dude breeds with every plant he grows. Seeds are overpriced for what they are and most should not even be sold. Facebook group is a joke run by a dude who promotes a molasses-only regimen for cannabis and thinks all opinions matter, even if it's some idiot responding to every post with "spider mites" or "needs CalMag".

i was thinking about trying to get a few and seeing how they go. Someone recommended em to me, didn't seem...scam'y..but def felt like shameless shill.
Still though, finding US based banks for reliable autos is kinda tough at the moment and i'm trying to start germinating for my new space next weekend. Have some Mephisto's but didn't want to leave myself empty handed already... got some diff genes from ethos and seedsherenow

maybe ill give this bruh mendy a shot if i can get some beans for the lo-lo

I grew a crop of his Keladoscope auto and it turned out great. Seeds were about $10 each. 100% germination. I am hoping that when the dispensary opens here they sell seeds.

A friend of mine has had BMS suggested to him on FB a good deal.
I have ordered from them and was disappointed. They’re overpriced in comparison with others. They took several days to respond back with their current selection. Something from another state literally arrived before their package even though I was a 3 hour drive away from them. Oh, and they charged me $10 shipping for in state (3 hours away). I also agree with the the FB group comment that half the people comment “More Cal Mag” when the poor individual requiring help has nute lock half the time and just needs a repot, top dress, foliar spray etc.

Not at all. Just that, in the limited interactions I had with Brother Mendel, he acted like an arrogant big shot and some of the things he said about his breeding philosophy and his strains made it obvious that he doesn't really know much. It's that way with most of the pollen chuckers working off Facebook. The Facebook group was just too much to bear. A fairly even mix of posers, scammers, undercover cops, and arrogant asshats with Dunning-Kruger syndrome. I have only been in one Facebook group that every post asking for help or advice isn't riddled with stupid people giving stupid answers that 1) don't address the issue being asked about and/or 2) are quoted out of context from 20 year-old High Times or Skunk articles. If anyone calls people out for giving bad advice ("Piss on them", "Get you some Miracle Gro dirt bro. It works for me", "Look up hash tipping"), the group admin gets mad at the people who actually know what they're talking about rather than the ones telling people how to ruin their grows. Just a shitshow all around.
