Broke off solder pad on Vero 29, any way to repair?

Nice so basically the same price as the gen7 i just got from digikey.i wanna say i just paid 26 bucks each for the 37v cobs
I bought my gen 6 Vero's because I got hooked big time on a project. Then my work season got really heavy and I had no time to build. By the time I get around to building (with my trusty soldering iron *cough) they come out with Vero 29se. Life lessons. Don't buy cobs until you're ready to build!

The Gen 6 Pico EZ mate max voltage is 130V but Max current is 2.8A... Does this mean that they can truly handle 360W before it fails? Sorry if this is a silly question, but I've been wiring 6 Vero 29's in series using the Molex connectors and haven't had any issues yet (knocking on wood) running on Meanwell HLG-320H.

I have a Seventh Gen Vero29C along with two Cree CXB3590s. The Vero has 100 more PPFD being driven to only 7 watts more power. It's also 90 CRI 3500k rather than 80, though.

I wish I had the Gen 7 also but I'd prefer the SE's even more just so it's a solder free build. Although it seems more than a few people have gone solder free and exceeded the 130v max.

I wonder if you could run a cob at 360w and still be within' the temperature requirements?

80 CRI will be a higher flux, 90 CRI has higher R9, so different phosphor mix but always at a flux penalty

They should be pretty close in photon flux (which is what I believe we're after there), though it's based on data sheet only. No doubt 80CRI has much higher luminous flux.

All Gen7 Veros, SE or regular are rated for 500v max. It's the Molex connectors that will be the bottle neck at 130v. With the SE coming out there will be no more need for Molex connectors, or soldering. The regular Veros are very solder friendly though, large pads that take solder well when tinning.

SE is Special Edition. Vero SE has integrated wire connectors so no need for solder or PicoEZmate. The wire connectors will accept up to 18g wire and common jacket diameters so you can take advantage of the max voltage rating without soldering.

All Molex Pico EZmate harness connectors for Bridgelux Vero COBS have maximum rating as this:

4.0 RATINGS

4.1 VOLTAGE
130 Volts AC(50Hz/60Hz)/DC (MAXIMUM)

4.2 CURRENT
2.8A (MAXIMUM)

4.3 OPERATING TEMPERATURE
-25°C to + 105°C

Regardless of the COB's own rating, these values shouldn't be exceeded when using this connector.

Intereating and good to know. Kinda surprising how there is conflicting info out there. I would assume yours is correct. That makes the fact that I was originally using them at 300v pretty funny too. They are already sodered though
