british government sacks advisor for drugs!!

hi calling any uk based folk or anybody else interested...........i've just been watching the new's Professor David Nutt, the government's chief drug adviser, has been sacked a day after claiming that cannabis, ecstasy and LSD were less dangerous than alcohol.

so basically their chief drugs guy tell's them that cannabis,lsd and ecstasy are less harmful than some legal drugs after loads of research in all aspects of drugs including social impact etc,etc then they go sack him!!! :wall:

so here's a well respected scientist telling the truth and the government doesn't wanna know so they try shut him up,
so why did they hire him?!! didnt like what they were hearing!!!!
big respect to professor nutt and i hope he keeps up the good work and truthful research........ :clap:

What does that tell you, yes safer in a regulated controlled form which will not happen all the time people fuel the dealers and these substances remain illeagal, the government are the biggest shit anyones ever taken brought to life.

Yeah, it's a disgrace. They don't like the truth, so instead they'll hire somebody that will lie to them, even though they know full well that it is a lie.

Alcohol and tobacco produce 100s of millions in tax every year, and the government does not want anything getting in the way of that.

yup, it's an absolute piss take, god knows labour aren't gonna be winning this election, or so help us!

imagine if alcohol was invented this sunday, what would the governments reaction be to that, highly dangerous, addicive, intoxicating, inebriating, massive deaths as a result, ridiculous health care costs..

There was a special here in the states called "Pot city". It spent a lot of time talking about large growhouses in northern California and how it's fucked up the town and all this shit. If it were legal they wouldn't have these shady types setting up the growhouses 'cause there wouldn't be any money in it for them anymore.

i seen a few programmes when shady growers were saying if it was legalized they would have to close down,wouldnt be worth their while etc, so they hope it's never legalized!!

i think it should be legal for everybody to be able to grow their own or buy it from the government if they so wish.
we should have the choice and right to be able to do what ever the hell we want with our body and minds...it's mine and nobody else's,
what right has someone to tell me what i can and cannot take??

if i wanna throw myself out of a plane with a parachute thats perfectly legal,even though there's a small chance it might not work/open and i could kill myself......but if i dare smoke a doobie and do no harm at all to anybody i could go to jail!!

Jacqui Smith is a piece of shit and a cunt, I also agree horse/bike riding should be banned on public roads.

It is definitely jacked up that I can drink a liter of vodka and give myself alcohol poisoning and almost die but I can't smoke a joint without risking jail time. Maybe one day soon our politicians will wake up and realize that they can take real tangible steps to stamp out organized crime and quit ruining lives over a plant. Dare to dream!

i hope so, until all the old fuddy duddys that live in a by gone age are all cleared out and replaced with people that actually want to help the people instead of lining their own pockets and screwing the tax payer nothings gonna change!!
