Bringing Road Kill back

Hello everyone I am a pothead and I have been for many years and I Remember a time there was skunk bud aka,RKS yes the old fable road kill that everyone is after nowadays.I was a kid when I first grew my skunk plant and I thought it was a polyoid plant because the plant grew weird . It had huge wide 3 finger leafs with a short fat mutated stock and it reminded me of a pic I saw at the time in a book I think called growing exellent weed or something like that .Anyway this plant grew from dirt that had no added nutes and produced supreme buds . Pure road kill that lingers in the air and u can smell the plant a mile away.lol now that seed that grew that either came from a skunk#1 or some brick middies that was called skunk bud at the time. So as the years went by it went from skunk bud to fire weed to just plain old Mexican dirt but all 3 come around every once inawhile as for the skunk#1 it suposely came from a big dealer who had connection to prize winning cuts as he had the best at the time so I still beleive him.( white widow,bc bud, northern lights all grade A) Now seeing as the RKS might be back but probably never in the original unaltered regular seed way I thought I would recreate it with the help of all you breeders who would like the same thing. I grow for smoke, seeds and to share so I am sharing all the knowledge I have gained over the years to finally bring Road kill skunk back in her pure self for all to enjoy. Here are some breeding ideas I have and with some help I can narrow it down to the winner in no time. First up skunk#1 x maple leaf indica (afghani T) - original superskunk (original). 2 skunk #1 x ducksfoot (3 finger leafs ,stinks a good distance from plants- good signs for an RKS pheno-3. Old seeds I saved from that period that I called pbs witch is a mix of middies seeds breed for my taste/looks/etc(sorry u can't do this one unless u live in pa and wanna grow some middy seeds from that area(Pittsburgh) 4. Skunk #1 x afghani 5.turning a skunk #1 into a polyoid and picking a stinky 3 leaflet pheno .lol (this one is prob not going to happen LOL). . So for the these breeds u can use the mli as the mother instead to c if anything changes etc. Does anyone wanna help out ? U don't have to pick the strains I named but one of these is the def winner trust me on that.

Ducksfoot is the one with webbed leaves right? I think the way it's going to return is if someone creates it. Finding the right plants to do it - this could be rather challenging.

I'd say find the original landraces and start from scratch, but that could literally take a decade of work depending on how big your operation is (the bigger it is the shorter the time frame) AND a lot of these original landrace varieties actually have quite a lot of regional variation and many have gone extinct thanks to a lot of questionable practices.

I've heard stories of dutch breeders going to countries with lax marijauana enforcement and growing outdoors to create seed (and thereby pollinating the landrace varieties, which I'm going to guess they probably took seeds from for safe keeping before this happened).

This is heresay, but it sounds like something that a sociopath would gladly do to ensure cheap seed production as well as seize prized landrace genetics for their own collection (in other words it sounds plausible and I wouldn't just single out the dutch for it). Given the direction DNA and patent law taken it wouldn't be surprising - ignoring simple supply and demand.

Unfortuantely hybridization, prohibition and questionable practices have created a situation where it's tough to find legitimate pure landrace varieties anymore - especially certain varieties like Thai. Mullimby Madness (SP?) is purported to be old Thai worked, but who really knows?

Chimera and Tom Hill are currently in the process of establishing a genetic database of cannabis. I think this is just simply an awesome project and I've heard they might have some results this year.

I am talking about starting from the closest thing to pure but using landraces well good luck on finding the originals that made up skunk#1 (alcapelco gold x columbian x afghani. I mean they don't name specific landraces and some are no longer with us so I think it will be easier to just find the source or to create it buy using the same genes that are already there u just gotta find the right sequence.
