where i live frost hits fairly early, my plant is only since today showing its first white hare and ive never grown outdoors before. Thinking i have lots of time to flower but last year i remember frost hitting before october so maybe not so much. Was wondering that if by that time the buds arent ripe if putting it under a de hps inside would it stunt it and not grow for a while or is it worthless the buds may not get any bigger has anyone tied this?

Thinking of doing the same with a plant that is my fave, SLH.
It always rots badly for me and might give it a shot finishing inside.

Bugs are another issue. I brought in mites with my clones from outside but cleared them up before going in for good.

You could bring them inside. You will just need to make sure your light schedule is replicating what is going on outside. But as d'snuts pointed out, you could bring in unwanted pests that could ruin future indoor endeavors. For that reason I would let them finish outside. Where I live I have a similar issue. They make frost covers for plants, but I cover my plants with bedsheets or blankets just after dark and pull them off just before sunrise. I havent had an issue with it. Just make sure you use something to suspend them over the plant like caging or some stakes.
