Bright tips on one of my girls. Only on newer growth. Cause for concern?

those cheap ph meters #s are worthless, just like run off .....................obviously you need to supplement cal/mag with RO, but it is a fine line.

good luck
Thanks. I'm growing organic in soil with RO water, I shouldnt have to worry about pH anyways really. I hardly ever use the meters. I just wait 24 hours to feed after mixing nutes since I know they drop the pH quite a bit. Basically just a compost tea if you look through the ingredients. guano, kelp, molasses, etc.

Regarding calmag, just using elemental and sticking to recommended dosages from Roots Organics. A lot of people use tap water and dont run into cal/mag deficiencies so they think its not necessary.

Right on. If it's working for you then good! But yeah I heard people do this a lot. Must be people that are new or just do not ever read up on growing, like those old school growers who never check ph and don't even use nutes lol. But they think it's totally unrelated when they have growing issues hahaha. But hey idk I have heard of people growing with no nutrients in soil with no ph monitoring and just bare basics and they get smoke. Not sure if I would be interested in smoking it but hey to each his own.

Thats basically why I switched from Gh trio synthetic nutes and from blurple LED to Cree COB LED. Trying to get some better quality bud to smoke.

Absolutely man! I have a viparspectra in with my quantum board led and it's working. I am interested to see if the IR and UV will help from the viparspectra to build oils and such.

Nice. Im gonna do the same.

Right now have 3 Cree Cob 3500k at 50w a piece over 2 plants.

Once I hit flowering I have a Roleadro Purple COB 400w and a 200w version. Not sure I'll need both, but it will be nice to add in some diff spectrums. Theyre COB and superrr bright, but it's the 3w epiled square LEDs. Like this: http://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/291504993567-0-1/s-l1000.jpg

what part of the country is your soil from?place of purchase?

yes in organics generally ph isn't a concern, depending on TDS tap water can be the only source and somewhat complete. I'm worried in your scenario about supplementing cal/mag on top of dolo, lime has a long break down and creates an alkaline environment==== possibly creating a lock with added cal/mag as I stated earlier. I'm not saying to go out and buy a blue lab soil ph meter, maybe get the soil tested at a local university? next run I would suggest just leaving out the dolo and go with elemental from the start, easier to manage in case of problems.

Roots uprising line are good products and have used them personally in the past;good bang for the buck. Congrats on the cob upgrade

Yeah that's a good idea. I was gonna get one of those before I ended up with my new quantum board. They looked to produce some decent yields compared to other led and the price ranges at the time etc. But the quantum board was a way better addition to the tent!

Thanks. It was FFOF originally. I waited a bit before I started feeding as I know how hot FFOF is. Also Mykos when I transplanted. I didnt amend with too much dolomite. Definitely on the way lower side of the recommended amount. I only started adding elemental when I saw deficiencies on older growth. Once I top dressed, it stopped.

Also, I have a Nicole Kush plant right next to it that looks lush and healthy. Fast growth with no issues. Getting the exact same everything, soil, light, watering, feeding.

Thanks. I top dressed with elemental last night for cal/mag and fed normally. We'll see how it goes. If the problem continues I should be able to rule out some things.
