^^^That's pretty impressive to me and depending on the strain and your grow area you could back it up a bit but that's more if you're worried about mold or want more light footprint. I think you should try to get the tightest nodal space you can before you flower. But again it might also depend on where you live that will dictate what space you like or should have. I would think in an area with mold/mildew problems would want some air in between buds and not try to grow big ass colas. How old is your plant? Is it an indica or sativa?

my bagseed kc36 are dead, all went fine untill i started listening to advice given " omg transplant, omg lower ur lights, increase power" Well my fault and People giving advice like Facts when in fact i now realize they must not have read what i wrote in the first place RIP. i have some more new bagseed seedlings and put them yesterday under led. Confirmed pistils on Indie! I think Baby is starting to get them now. I think they want to start flowering! Just a few more days I think...

I really want to get them flowering soon, but just holding out another few days or so.

At 6am today, Day 37 flowering schedule is in effect:

6:00AM Lights Out!
-1 cup of water dripped from above.
-Fan speed 2 (Highest).



6:00PM Lights on at 2 amps (Low Brightness).
-1 Liter of water dripped from above.
-Fan speed 2 (Highest).


6:30PM Lights on at 5.5 amps (Full power).
-2 Liters of water poured into soil at the base of the stems.
-1 cup of water into bottom tray.
-Fan speed 1 (Lowest)
-Light mist of water **only in first two weeks**

I will keep this schedule for the next week or so and see how things turn out.

So the first day of flower has past. There seems to be a big color change around the tops, looks like a lot less green pigment, I suppose this is because the decrease in photo activity. After the day period, they seem to achieve full color again, which seems like they can deal with decreased light quite well. I cant wait to see them after they wake up today!

I am already adding more water before they go to sleep now, another liter will be poured into the soil between them and about a cup will go into the bottom tray, here is the modified flowering schedule:

Careful on your watering habits here PICO^^^ drenching the top and bottom saucer BEFORE lights out in that cramped space with dense indica dom plants is not recommended. What are your RH levels at anyway??

Healthy lime-green new growth is a good indicator. just keep it that way

After a about an hour or so, RH at night is about 55% and during the day about 45% when I water (always when the pics are taken) I almost hit 90% but I think its that's just the evaporating water on the leaves. I could stop dripping water from above and only add it to the soil, but I think about 1/4 of the water I drip evaporates before it gets to the soil.

I have a soil moistness meter and it always seems to be in the dry scale? After the transplant into the larger pots never had a problem with to much water yet. I think I have at least the minimum air flow, in and out of the space to keep them healthy, after 2 more weeks it will be a jungle in there lol.

I have been sticking my head into the chamber every chance I get to look for pistils. I have seen them on 2 of the 5 plants for sure, but I am also double checking most if the nodes, as I have seen people get a set of pistils but still develop a hermi and ended up pollinating the hole crop. The tallest, Rodion might be a male. Some of the balls above the petioles look as if they are lifting out on a tiny little stem but this in on older nodes, some of the higher nodes carry what look like calyx but still waiting on pistils, I guess time will tell.

Some more pictures for you guys, these are from this morning after 12 hour* period, I am liking the swap of having the plants day time, at my night time, It would have been pretty cold with out the lights on last night. I still don't know weather the pre-flowers on Rodion are Calyx (female) or Staminate Primordia (male), only one or two look like Staminate Primordia, on the older nodes but most of the higher ones look like Calyx and you can almost see the Pistils pushing out. I will try and get some close ups on the weekend.



I thought I would take a few quick pics, of the sunflowers out side, they have just opened their flowers yesterday!

Somehow I missed this......I would never water before lights out especially during flower.......also make sure you're moisture meter has been cleaned with fine grit sandpaper to get the most accurate readings. the probe(s)tarnish Even in the packaging and need to be cleaned frequently.

So I have confirmed the males in the pack, Mud and Rodion. I have taken them out for now to make more space for the Females, all the rest have pistils coming out everywhere.

I will get some pics up soon.

So to follow up on the update, there will only be the 3 females left in the chamber for flower Baby, Indie and Pana. The males, Rodion and Mud are chilling next to me until I figure out what I should do with them, any ideas?

Reveg them if they're any good, then clone them and keep in bonsai form just in case you want to breed them.

Edit: Actually, you could probably just clone them since they weren't too deep into flower.

I caught my eye on two new branches starting from the first node on Pana, they where so small and green, brand new, I thought these will never amount to much its to late into flower for them to grow, so I prepared a cup with some more FFOF and cleaned a razor blade with alcohol and sliced one of the new small branches off, I made two angler cuts at the bottom of the stem sort of cutting it to a point and pushed it into the soil about 2 inches deep.

This morning its now pointing straight up I had a 60 watt incandescent on it all last night. I will change it out with a 20W~ cfl soon I think, looks good so far, I think

And the males chilling with their new friend, I still not sure what to do with these, I have a friend coming over soon that might want them, I wonder if they will bloom with the light they are getting from 2 incandescent bulbs lol.

That's how I've been cloning my girls, too. I usually leave them in a shot glass to soak for a few days, then plant in dirt. They are very susceptible to dry soil for about a week and can die in a day if you aren't careful. It seems to be a fine line between too damp (Green algae growth on perlite), and too dry (wilted, dead cutting). They also don't like too much direct light. I've actually been using the canopy of clones that are further along to shade the new cuttings. They look much happier in the shade, at least when they are trying to root.

My questions are,

They look like like they are flowering properly from what I have seen, what do you think?

How much taller do you think they will get?!

How come they seem to be doing so well with out adding any nutes?

I hope this are developing okay, I think they look good for day 11 of flower. The first relatively green leaves are starting to come off, I think now is the time for a few extra nutes, I think I will start this week end.
