I'm really close to done. I've broke all the little white terminal caps off my strips, damn those things suck lol. Got them all covered in liquid electrical tape now. Should work, I tightened all the contacts around the wires before I loaded em up with the goop.

About to wire it all up then let it sit for a few hours and dry before I put power through it.

Wasn't really expecting one panel to take this long. I should just be able to set this one ontop of the other two and use it as a template for all the holes.

lol yeah having used both the Samsung and the Bridgelux strips, I can confirm that the Bridgelux solderless connectors suck!!

i do not like the samsung wagos either..too small for DIY people like me

Ive broken 3 EB connectors myself. I started using a ball point pen and pushing straight down with a gentle touch and have had better luck. Ive broken zero Samsung conectors.

So there she be's. Like I said I'm waiting on parts to clean it up a bit and make it daisy chainable to the other ones I'll be making. The lens** might be coming off the cob too, I haven't decided yet. It looks neato and all but I don't know that it's doing anything, or if I even have it mounted properly.

I would remove it(the lens) to eliminate the hotspot as far as possible.
Better spread the light from the COB as much as possible to get an even par map..
The edges of the pan allready acts like a reflector, which should help to improve the intensity at the sides...
Maybe check with and without lens with a cheapo 10$ luxmeter..

Yeah, looks really nice and the anodisation adds to the nice look an improved cooling, similar to a roughened surface ...
Unfortunately there are no 3'/90cm strips to fit it perfectly.
But 2 slate2's connected together would fit with the 2ft strips.

Yepp, but more complicated to wire!
You need to connect each two 1ft strips(350mA) in parallel to match the 2ft strip current(700mA) otherwise the 1ft's strips LED's would be run at double the current when simple connected in series..
1ft strips needs only half the current of the 2ft's..
It would be easier if they only had different voltage, but unfortunately the strips have a series / parallel circuit (8 smd's in series, 3 in parallel for the 1ft strips, 6 in parallel on the 2ft strips and so on ..) Same with the H-Series from Sammy.

3 of those fit in a 2x4 tent.

Here are some configs that let you mount one driver and the 1' (280mm) strips to a cookie sheet. These are like budget quantum panels lol. This cracks me up.
So you could run two hotter panels at 20,000 lumens on the sides and a 12,000lumen panel in the middle.
