Today it starts. Planted a total of 9 seeds in Mother Earth today. All seeds are from a late fall pollinated female from last years harvest. Straight fire.

And here we go...

Happy growing to all my Midwest neighbors!

Garden is starting to take shape. Good stretch of sun ongoing right now. Back rows are my medicine, with two rows of corn in front of my cannabis. The lone one to the left is my pepper plant, serving as a border to where my peas and cukes will go. Two tomato plants in the forefront next to my second season of strawberries. Carrots will be in that area, and I will be doing broccoli in pots in the far right back.

My good luck charm is a Robin nesting, to guard my grow as it sprouts!

4 seedling have broke earth. 3 are very healthy. This has been a shitty, shitty spring, so to see 3 healthy is good news. I have 4 additional seeds planted last week, and weather has been cooperating for those.

Planted peas, cukes and carrots today. 5 corn have sprouted, so garden is starting to live a little!

Summer is finally here! My 2019 grow is coming along after the shitty spring delayed sprouting. As a result, I had to plant additional seeds to make sure I get some growth. 7 babies have sprouted.

Summer has finally set in here. I have been able to administer Big Bloom feeds regularly now, and I topped my largest plant for the first time last night. Based on my notes from last years grow, I am about 3-4 weeks away from preflowering. My tallest is standing at my knees now. Shitty spring is the reason, as I would expect waist high by this time in a perfect world.

Very happy with the last week. All sun all day is allowing me to control watering the way I like, so my plants are finally responding the way I am used to them doing. Very healthy, and growing daily.

The girl I topped:

I'm leaning towards letting these two be instead of trying to move one in an open space. They seem to be growing fine, and I don't think a transplant will be worth more then just leaving them there together:

All in all, a lot of progress in a short period of time.

5 days from last post:

Growth is explosive! Plants have nearly doubled in size in 5 days, and all topping sites on 4 plants are healthy and responding well. The weather has been my greatest ally, as I have had blasting heat and sun during the day, for the last 2 weeks. Feeding and watering has been right on schedule.
The two plants that ended up right next to each other are both topped and doing great.
What started as a shitty, crap growing season is now making up for it, big time!

I'm in Wisconsin. Temps are mid to high 80s in the day, 60s at night. Water source is Lake Michigan.
I am constantly tending to my garden. I'm a freak that way.
