If you have a bag seed of unknown origin and you grow it out to be selfed will said new seeds carry the same genetics of the plant you grew or will it exhibit a crapshoot of other traits from the parents of bagged seed origin?

Depends if the bagseed was a s1 or from regular male/female pollen you would need to know that bit to awnser your question correctly and regarding s1 s it depends some lines stay close to the parents some lines they come out completely different if you s1 them so it depends really also s1s often carry dominant traits that are recessive in the original too

Seeing you found only one seed in the bag its most likely a seed that came from a plant that may have hermied or threw a couple nanners during its grow. Just an assumption, and with that assumption if you self that plant then the seeds will probably be similar but not the same. The phenos may have slight smell differences and growth but if this is from a hermied plant then your're chances of the hermy trait being passed down into the seeds is much higher. Good luck.
