Breeders on Discord

IMO probably one of the best things about Discord----well, 2 things. . ... #1 a more direct line to your favorite breeder & their info on new drops. If you're on their Discord, you'll find out about stuff like new drops sooner than just being on an email list or reading forums.

#2 literally everyone on said Discord is kinda kissing the breeder's ass in hopes of handouts, but with this you'll see WAY more grows & strains grown than you'll probably see anywhere else.

The opportunity to suckle the seed maker’s marketing copy straight from the teat. Gotcha.

There are some good discords but most are either toxic af or just a circle jerk where everyone sucks the breeder off and acts like they can do no wrong

I still prefer forums for honest opinions

Im not a fan of giving breeders the power to delete all negative comments or just kick someone out the discord because they spoke on a negative experience they had with your seeds

Discord has absolutely no bs. Raw won’t allow it. In-house won’t allow it. Katsu won’t allow it. Solfire. Soco. All those breeder discord. Are almost drama free. I see people who talk the most shit on here. Go on discord and act like a saint. Same usernames too. Funny
Soco has a discord?

mind sending me an invite?

Idk what discords you’re on. But it’s more of a family imo. Or team. Maybe even cheer leaders lmao. But iv met solid people on there..great friends. But if you take it Ina negative manner each time. Might be a different problem there. Iv never had an issue with discussing problems iv had with seeds directly with the breeder or fellow growers, growing the exact same thing. From giveaways to challenges to being the first to test new strains. Meet ups for seshes. Trading weed, clones and extracts. Going to conventions you never knew existed, and for seed collectors. You get first dibs on new drops.

I don't need discord or any drops from some pollen chuckers. I can chuck my own just as good. The cannabis world sure sets a low bar for calling someone a breeder.

I'm sure there are those that don't like my post. If you're one of them then ignore it.

As you were.
Not really about seeds. Just get to talk to a group of people growing the exact same strain. Kinda nice seeing all the different and unique characteristics the come from different environments and skill sets. While you and maybe 3 or 4 others are growing the exact same seeds. Then you can exchange cuts and see what difference you can make to that particular pheno all while posting and chatting about it. I understand it’s not for everyone. But it definitely was a breath of fresh air for me. I don’t get to relate to a lot of people.

yeah there are a few breeders (none that I listed) that ban anyone who delivers bad news or something not condusive to their agenda. I stay the hell away from those breeders discords. I could name them but I wont.

Not to mention these breeders are like artists and like artists you can find out information directly from them taht you might want to know. Like "How does this strain take a heavy feeding?" "how do you select your males?" "What traits do you look for in an ideal mother from a pheno hunt?" Hell you could ask them what prompted them to name a strain what its named. Its like meeting any artist and you can find out history as well as facts about the plants themselves.

Prolly the best costumer service iv had was raw genetics. And fucking great flower. With little effort. I’m glad he brought gas back. But yeah. It also makes hunts alot wider. I now run hunts with a few others at the same time and exchange cuts thru a ziplock baggy. Dry. Fresh cut off the plant. Works every time too. And if it doesn’t root. We send another. For like 3 dollars. I learned alot. I now have friends all over the country that don’t dawg and call people retarded for flushing. Or idiotic for doing 48hr period. Like it’s their weed lol. No body cares.

I've had discord on my phone for a couple years at least. I've messed around with it a few times, and recently I found one called God's garden and the multiverse discord. If you could recommend any I would appreciate it. You make it sound great. I need to move the app to my home screen so I remember I have it and can start figuring out how to use it.
