I crossed the IBL Durban I maintain with a cutting of MAC that’s been maintained on the Kenai for years. Years. The resulting cross is excellent. Yield and flavor. Good stuff.
I've been working with a couple different Durban's myself. Everything has been excellent. The most recent one is an an F7 PCK +Durban/Egyptian Sinai crossed with a male IBL Durban. Call the Fire Department. :bigjoint:

The crosses I’ve done with the Durban have all been with stable proven lines. For a reason. And nobody has been disappointed or experiencing hermies. The lone exception to long proven is one with Black Farms Genetix Banana Slammer. And so far no weirdness along with good flavors and really good yield. But that’s been my lone foray into new strains.

Ethos is the worst......unless you like hermies and weak pot with low thc. Out of the 15 or so strains i've grow from them, only 2 were worthwhile and a couple more were ok. The rest were a waste of time.

I’ll attest to this. Using the Durban for quite a few strains, not one herm

I just ran the cookie multipack and had 3/8 hermi on me. My next run 6/8 went hermi. have never had this many issues.

The cookies genetics are a clusterfuck when it comes to herms as they were originally bagseed genetics so that be why its part in parcel with those genes mind you a decent breeder would improve upon them before releasing them as that issues well known

I appreciate the information. I am about to start some grandpas stash so I hope things go a little better.

Sadly most of the popular stuff has roots in bagseed cos it was illegal and harder to get seeds like say vs uk or Europe so they had little choice to use bagseed dont get me wrong some killer stuff can be in bagseed its why i kept stuff for as long as i been smoking i dont really like cookies itself much its weak to me but same idea applies to the chems and ogs and i like them and thing is most bagseed will be accidental s1s ime and being that they tend to either show or pass on herm traits to there progeny when you breed with em gg4 is another example same thing they might be killer weed but in an ideal world you dont use genetics with that problem in breeding for flowers ok so if you run em u take the risk knowing that on a side note the thing thats supposedly in cookies that herms is there f1 durban apparently that spits bananas alot so its proly cos of that in its lineage in the case of cookies causing the issues many get with em
