kingbrite the best place to get diy cob equipment for the price? I am getting a tax return soon, so a COB fixture may be in my future finally.

I bought my last batch of cobs from Cobkits, but there are e few ppl here selling them, not to mention Quantum Boards are the new thing

I'm cheap and am good with electronics, got a degree in it, so I just want quality parts at the best price. I seen some on alibaba but they haven't sent me a quote yet.

yeah, but unless i remember wrong he is using them more for side lighting not penetration. Can't remember the name of the the light now, but there was a thread on here about Cree making an LED light specifically designed for horticulture. I don't think it's on the market yet.

I am running Cobkits CXM22s right now and they are doing well in my clone tent.
I have bought from Grenegene707 also, but he doesnt have cobs anymore AFAIK. I bought from The guy in AU as well forgot name right now...WElight or something.
All them are good guys. Seems the US guys sell different cobs so as not to compete directly with each other

Yeah he is just experimenting, but on the main thread some guys are flowering with them

I took this cut say a week or 2 into 12/12 and now it's been back on 24 hours since being in the cloner and rooted

Would those sacks still open on 24 and would the pollen be viable??

Yes. It will be. I normally pull off stray sacs. Eventually they stop producing them until you put them back in flower mode.
