Brasmith's Hi-jack grow: from seedling to smoke

I took down the 6 flowering hijacks at nearly 10 weeks of flowering, perfect. After 2 testers, 2 weeks apart, the bud began to taste and feel just right. A week after the 2nd tester the ladies came into full maturity and got that nice golden overall look. About 90% of the hairs were receded back into the bud, yummy.

The harvest took about 3 hours. You will notice that they dealt with some powdery mildew for about the last 3 weeks of flowering. It started at the bottom of the plants and worked its way up using the small leaves as a ladder to climb up the plants. I just picked leaves off every day to keep up with the mildew so it would not get into the buds. A bit made onto the edges of some bud leaves as you can see in the bud pics. I have since cleaned the buds a bit more and managed to pick out little white spots on the buds.

The all buds pics shows the differance in colors of the buds. Some of the lower stuff is greener compared to the upper buds. Even though the lower stuff was not as mature all the buds are heavy with sticky and dense with small bud leaves.

The last pic is my gramma, she likes how they smell especially at harvest time. Gramma enjoys anything sneaky and she thinks that growing is sneaky:lol: (I'm legal lol), so she is a team player in all this, funny.

What I still have in flower is a chem dawg and she will not be done for about 3 more weeks. The first 4 clones I took for practice have been transplanted into a soil/coco mix and they are vegging well. There is still 8 more hijack clones trying to root so they can go outdoors for the spring to fall grow.

Thanks to all who followed along.

She doesn't smoke it but she will eat a brownie once in a while and when it hits her she just sits there looking around :dunce::lol:, makes us all laugh. Wait till she eats a hijack brownie, I'll post a pic of her.

Thanks Doc! for hanging out with me during the grow of the hijack. Hope you drop back by once in a while to see what happens next, the outdoor hijack's. :bigjoint:

Post a smoke report on that killer diller!!!
The testers were great and even quick dried, now I have to wait for a slow dried bud so I can get the full affect and taste from the diller. I'll get back to ya'll about the overall taste and feel. I would however love to give a full report now, the wait really does suck.

Glad you came by to see the fresh harvest.

Hello everyone...So, I just got my hands on some of these beans from a Montana friend that moved back to Seattle. After reading, it looks like a big thank you is owed to fdd2blk. No one around here has heard of it, but it sounds like they are in for a big surprise. And for the record...My buddy didn't charge me, just a nice trade to make him happy. I will gladly keep the tradition of not charging for this strain. Had to make an account here to learn more since it's new to me as well.

Can someone help me out with this strain? I am having herm problems with it, just don't know if it's the abuse the early plants have been through or a jinx in the strain. Any help would be appreciated and I can elaborate if someone bites. Thank you!
