Boy Genius-Don’t do as I say. Don’t do as I do)

Transplanted the first 5 into 5-Gallon pots. Time to dial in the 4x4 and start looking for keepers.

AmericannaXBeatrixChoice F2’s. I am running two different lines from the F1’s. This is the general shape of both mothers selected.

Middle of week two of flowering for most of the 4x4. Looking to take another round of cuttings for my DIY aero cloner. Not getting great results from my DIY bubble cloner possibly due to light stress.

I’ve seen this in a few of the F2’s of Americanna x Beatrix Choice. However this plant has long internode spacing but is responding well to canopy training.

Anyone have experience with this trait?

Finally had a few cuts pop in the bubbler. I’m definitely not keeping up on the water changes as much as I should and that makes a huge difference.

I’ll have a go at the DIY aerocloner in the next few days. Can’t quite get a waterproof seal. It came with a neoprene collar in the lid, but it’s not a fitting as I’d hoped. I attempted to seal it with silicon gasket, but still isn’t dry.C2D33089-1EEB-49C3-B5FF-94112818A1C2.jpeg12155272-18B6-4CAD-8764-27D0778F4BB0.jpegC2D33089-1EEB-49C3-B5FF-94112818A1C2.jpeg12155272-18B6-4CAD-8764-27D0778F4BB0.jpegF110C75D-A728-4EC4-8D45-FEC5AE7490C0.jpegEEB2EBF3-7CBE-4912-B28C-D532354BCAFD.jpeg6E185984-CDB9-43C7-B2C9-4440578A4D77.jpeg

Day 37 Americanna x Beatrix Choice F2’s. The bottom plant has stems like sandpaper. Cuttings are rooting in my leaking aero cloner. Much faster development than the bubble cloner, but I need to adjust the seal on the lid.2A362BF9-B193-44FF-919B-149ECAF74B59.jpeg5810CBAC-C75D-4FB5-B018-238DEDF43D25.jpeg1379D29C-9111-432F-B041-236DEC4AD714.jpeg1DC83489-B6E3-44B3-87D8-5E25501FEA93.jpegFE09A674-88AD-40FE-9430-F7555381968B.jpegBAEEA1D5-CECB-40EC-B088-1F4889F5A3B4.jpeg4F341B9F-3875-46D8-8286-267D8554FBA7.jpeg

Day 60. Does anyone know what strains or stresses throw out long, smooth tips on leaves?

Been growing a very long time. It always seems like " wierd" shit like that happens quite a bit. Don't think you'll have any problems with those booming, beautiful buds.

Unfortunately, I missed his show on his last college tour. However, I will always remember that “there are NO BLUE FOODS!”

I was just wondering about the smooth leaves because the mother threw out a ton of tiny smooth single leaves towards the end of flower, but was very stressed. They didn’t seem to have very many or any Trichomes.

I wish the main colas were this close to harvest. A couple samples from lower on the stem. The colas are bent over from tying, but now support themselves…for now. All the stems have been malleable, but give enough resistance.

Day 76 and going. The taller Girl is still throwing up foxtails possibly due to a temp spike this last week. Smells like cherry cough drops. The shorter club-shaped looks ready to take in the next few days. Trichs are finally becoming cloudy.
