Bought Used CAP Ebb Grow, What to Clean With?

Just got a used 24 bucket ebb grow. I'm going to replace all the lines but what do I want to clean all the fittings and buckets with? Straight hydrogen peroxide or something? I'm looking for a home type product preferably, not something expensive bought in a hydro store.

Thanks....

I clean with bleach all the time. Just give it some time to evaporate. I wouldn't use it in a res though. I've seen some bad shit happen. Especially when you can get h2o2 just as easily.

You'll be fine using bleach for cleaning. Just make sure you rinse it out thoroughly, which I'm sure you planned on doing anyway.
Bleach becomes bad when you let it get on your plants. I've tested varying strengths of bleach on plants and have seen devistating results from even heavily watered down sprays... So again, rinse well :)

Ha yea. It was actually a side thing just to see what it would do.

Any part of the plant that contacted the spray quickly became grayish and died.
Was interesting watching a plant die within hours.

What did you expect to happen? It to clean the leafs? haha
H202 is better in every way... you add the shit to your full res to provide the roots with Oxygen.....
I wash my res out with this shit drain the water and fill.. I don't waste my time with bleach when h202 is everywhere.
If i did not have access to h202 i would use bleach...

Drain - Rinse/Scrub - Fill/add nutes - Add h202
----------(with h202)---------------------- ( adds Oxygen to water )

I would use dawn dish soap hense it has a cleaning agent that breaks down resadues left by nutes, then i would wash out
all the soap then bleach it to kill bactiria then rinse all that out and mix up a new batch of nutes and run som h202 to eliminate
any missed bactiria :) this is the correct way to do it.
