Bought the 150w HPS for cheap... Are there any MH conversion bulbs that will work?

well, i bought and have received and rewired the econolight 150w hps.. my question now, after about 30 minutes of googling is the following..

are there any MH conversion bulbs that will work with the ballast? I can find 150w HPS conversions, but i can not find a 150w MH conversion...

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i don't think you can unless it has a switchable ballest

i wouldn't worry your plant will be fine,if you were doing a big grow you would want to have the other bulb for a little quicker growing.

I can't say as the the bulb issue, but I would like to see what you did with the light...pics?

Through a little more searching you will come across a thread on I think its umm...cannabis something .com

On this thread the guy will link you to a company that makes a 150watt mh converter bulb. I never figured out how I could actually buy one though.

I own three of the econolights and would love to be able to run them MH...

only freaking place that has em and of course they would have to be defected, so they have been recalled and are supposedly being fixed, but its been quite sometime. hopefully they actually do.

that would explain exactly why that guy was posting about his not working because none of them were.

another place but im not even sure if it fits a S55 ballast, or in my case i have a S55 ballast maybe these will work with yours.
but they are way over priced no idea why, for the price of one of these you could buy a MH ballast with a bulb included, stupid pricing.
