Bottom leaves yellowing

my plants are 28 days in from sprout and some of them are yellowing on the bottom leaves. I began some nutes since and have come back bigger, lusher and greener but the bottom leaves stay yellow with some brownish splotches.

what might be causing this? should I trim them off?

the soil is some generic potting soil mix (alltreat), the nutes are 10-15-10 shultz concentrated plant food (the one with the dropper) and the temps are between 25-30 deg. cel. and between 40-50% humidity lights on. (18-6)

I ph balanced the tapwater using lemonjuice if that helps. I water daily but very lightly, only til I see the topsoil get's dried out. it seems to dry out quickly

You are watering too much and you should have transplanted to a bigger pot by now. You DONT WANT TO TRIM NOTHING! NOTHING! @8 days the plant should be atleast a foot tall and have braches that are 3 or 4 inches long growing from it.

for some reason I find it hard to believe they should be a foot tall after 8 days. got any pics of your 8 day old one footer?

check out my thread in the growroom forum to give you an idea of my setup

dirty what the fuck are you talking about. dont know what magic method your using. but hes right about transplanting. find a bigger pot which allows a lot more room for root growth. if you trim it causes the plant to heal the wound and spend more energy on growing. but only trim if 50% or more of the leaf(s) look damaged, burned, dying. but yo dont water everyday . i knwo its tempting and you cant get your eyes off your plants. i know you think they are gonan die by having the topsoil dry. but thats what happens. the roots will search for water and in turn causes the plant to grow. water every 2-3 days. keep temps 70-80 , humidity 30-40 percent. fan em. make sure ph is around 6.5 there ya go. just dont start trippin and DONT do the noob thing and open n close the door every 10 mins. they grow a lot faster when you let em be.
