bottom leaves dying and top leaves growing bent down

I've been having some trouble with my plant lately.
A couple of weeks ago my plant started to show some signs of nutrient deficiency and also its roots where sticking out of the soil a little.
I added more soil and gave it some nutrients and their overall status improved for a while except for the bottom leaves that already had been showing some necrosis.

Lately the plant is having some problems again. The bottom leaves are still dying (at a lower speed though) and the top leaves are all bent down.
Some of the non dying bottom leaves are also showing some curling in their tips.
The tips of most of the leaves are also yellowish since before I added the nutrients.

Could you help me with this please? I'm worried about it.

My guess is that it's either overwatering or nutrient burn, but this is my first attempt to grow a plant and wouldn't know better.

Thanks!

actually I think you are right on both counts, over watering and nute burn
sadly the only thing I can think of is to flush it with some clear water to wash out some of the extra nutes.
This of course is just going to make the overwatering even worse though, so I'm kind of at a loss as to what to suggest here...
I don't think you're killing it just yet so don't do anything drastic, get some more opinions first
