Bottom Fan Leafs

Cutting off the bottom fan leafs doesnt hurt the plant does it?

While it may not be fatal for the plant to remove the big fan leaves, they are the photosynthetic factories of the plant that provide carbohydrates which is used for growth. Cutting off fan leaves will likely stunt/slow growth, and is generally not a good idea.

this is my 3rd day into veg
i just cut the few bottom fans off so the pre-flowers could get more light to them...doesnt seem to be hurting it in anyway...in fact the the bottom pre-flowers are booming

I always take the bottom 3/4 ince of brances of these don't recive any light in my grow room so it is a waste of time giveing them valuble nutrients so the answer to the question is no it don't it is bad to take off any fan leaves if the plants are only small.but i would let the plant grow it self.the only other time that you want to be pulling the odd leave is when the plants become dence and very little light is penatrateing the inner bud sites it also helps with air flow whitch is key to a good healthy plant.
