dont worry about all the symbols... that's just a basics 3rd order non-linear equitation.
I It is used for thermal dynamics and propulsion.. it is essentially a multi-variable equation where each variable is a function related to the other variables through differentiation.
Ex: a rocket is shot into space the faster it travels the higher the air resistance. Which means you must use more fuel. which means the rocket is getting lighter. which means its momentum is deceasing. which means you need even more fuel to go faster..The whole time accounting for the decreasing densities of the air @ higher elevations which is related to how much force the air Resistance acts with.
Then you get a question like how high did the rocket go... lol I love math but sometimes its tricky.
