Border snagged my first order of seeds, what a bummer

After having a cpl of my orders nabbed from international banks, I was jaded and only went through U.S. banks for the last cpl yrs. Im in the Midwest and all of my international postage goes through Chicago customs and they are very tough to get things by there. The Vault got my package here in less than 7 days from the UK. They have completely changed my perspective on buying from outside of the U.S.

Any newbies with similar experiences? Just sucks it was my first time and Im all set up ready to grow was expecting them anyday.

Im thinking of re-orderring through Attitude and paying the extra $10 for guaranteed delivery so they will atleast resend them, I dont think Nirvana will do anything at all for me at this point and dont want to risk it again

Try the single seed centre, they have come threw every time very stealthy and prices right

I can personally vouch for Herbies and The vault. Both have done me right. To the south east US in a week to 10 days everytime.

To canada though?

I dont even get why they are allowed to confiscate them, there supposed to be novelty items in there seed form, only illegal if germinated

Its illegal to ship seeds from alot of plants into the US so might be the same for Canada

Everyone thinks they are legal. Cannabis seeds are indeed illegal to purchase in the Us anyways. People think because they have no thc or live in a med state that its ok. It is still illegal federally and customs id federal.

Some people are just sloppy on how they do it. I've mailed seeds a couple times. A little effort goes a long ways.

Herbies got my seeds here too had 1 order not make it lost? No letter and post office said it was delivered but I never got it told herbies about it and they reshipped it next day got that package 6 days later

I recieved another customs letter in the mail, the reshipment was also snagged by them, seems weird for them to catch 2 in a row, but I dont know how discreet they are being shipped. I didnt even think they monitored envelopes so closely entering canada. I may have to find a local source and pay the high price, avoids this seizure hassle anyways

Ordered from herbies three times and got every one of the packages. I always chose the guarantee tho.

I'd say they are onto Nirvana's indiscreet shipping methods and unfortunately whatever address those seeds were headed to just made a database. Could be worse.. My first seed order I had shipped to a house I owned and it was intercepted, I panicked but nothing ever happened. I didn't order any seeds again for a few years but when I did I gladly paid the stupid discretion fees.

By the way I'm in the U.S. not Canada

again i dont think nirvana uses indiscreet shipping methods. I received 2 orders from them totaling 3 packages in the last month and they were all perfect and very well hidden.

Waiting on a 5 pack of. R.P. Skywalker OG 5 pack Tahoe OG and some other top notch strains from Midweek song. Hope all goes well. They went to New york which i am happy about. Anyone have experience with MWS?

I had no problem with MWS. I did have a bit of a concern as the tracking showed that the package was stuck in NYC area for nearly three weeks. It did finally arrive intact.

Also MWS had the best deal by far on the Kali Mist fems that I have been scoping out for a long while.

yea thats exactly why i no longer order from overseas seed banks.My life was destroyed from customs getting my seeds and notifying state leo,needless to say i lost everything,job,house,retirement,most friends and now a felony on my record.Use stateside seed banks,i do and love them and best of all,
NO Customs

Damn man I never heard of any1 going down cause of a customs seed snag are you positive that it was from that and that local Leo wasn't already on to it

Don't get too discouraged, sucks they got your first order though. I'm in Canada and have ordered/received ~30 seed orders last couple of years from UK, US, Spain, and Canadian banks. One order got seized about 3 months ago out of all of them. Just placed 4 orders from 4 different banks in US, UK and Canada, 3 have arrived, last one is in transit from US.

Canadian banks are a safe bet, just don't always have what you're looking for. For NL, try Peak Seeds, he has knock off's and some of his own crosses that some folks in the Canadian thread have been raving about, and cheap (cheesy web site but legit). BC Bud Depot is another, some folks have complained about them but I've never had an issue, I think they get confused sometimes with a similar name scam site. Couple of others overseas I just received orders from are World of Seeds and Breeder's Boutique. Cheers.

Done the cash in envelop with both Peak and Hemp Depot ...which is also out to Canada. Peak has limited selection but that is to be expected from a breeder/retailer. Hemp Depot has a little of everything and plenty of Cindy99 bred strains. I go there for the strains KOS sells.
