so am i wasting my efforts with the clone? If it's supposed to be the same age it has a lot less preflowers/budding sites than the big one. Will it yield anything or waste?

Back in the City

(NL5)

Was out of town for a week about a week ago, So I had my pal watch the plants and with the exception of the tip of one kola growing until it touched a CFL and shriveled up, everything is going great! So this week is the continuing story of these great girls. Also while I was out of town, I found out that I've been calling these girls by the wrong names... this lil shrub is big bang and the big bush is Northern lights. If anyone in the SF bay area knows "Fudgie" send him/her a high five for me!

This plant is doing phenomenal and I changed out the water to it's week 8 regimen @ 800ppm. It's getting real furry real fast! Can't even notice where it touched the light it's growth has been going on so fast!

This plant I moved up to the week 4 regimine @ 650ppm. I;m not too sure if I'm wasting nuitrients with this plant becasue it is a clone of a auto (NL5) plus I have all my plants on a more dark cycle with 12 hours dark so I'm not sure if it's too small for that....

ANY THOUGHTS?

nk2.jpg (Big bang)

The plant formerly known as NL% is actually big bang and it hasnt gotten any taller but it has been getting crystallized like crazy! Although some weeks back it looks like it had a deficency in something it seems to be doing just fine as I DID NIT change out the water or nuit solution as the PPM's didn't drastically go down only like -20ppm or so, Thus I will probably change the nuits later in the week once it sucks up more or just wait and see.

But I think I've got some good smoking ahead of me!

Big T in little C

Well it would seem I lost a little bit of control with this closet. A month ago when I was out of town I had my Big Bang auto(formerly thought to be NL5) was hit by a cal-mag deficiency, Although I do believe the root of that problem was my pH. Now It would seem I did it again to my NL5 (formerly thought to be big bang) Although now it would seem it might have a bit of nitrogen poisoning? To be honest I have no Idea. They're all just about to go into their 6th week of flowering and the trics are all looking nice it's just the leaves are starting to turn. A few days ago on the 4th I changed out the nuits and re adjusted the pH, and while I'm using the bottom barrel pH meter like a pool guy, I think for my next grow I'll invest in a fancy pH meter-wand to be all the more accurate. But I changed out the nuits and in my Largest plant (NL5) I have the PPM @ 800 which with the pH being off last week I think I should've had my pH at a lower number because I think it's now a lil too much. However it is sucking up water and nuits still with the PPM being about 50-60 points lower than the day I added the nuits so I THINK it will sort itself out in a day or so, but I am also thinking that the supposed harvest time is just a week or two away, So I'm thinking of just topping off the reservoir with water for the next few weeks to wind the plant down into flush mode.

(the closet in it's entirety)

The rest of the plants seem to be doing alright. The Big bang (seen top left) is getting really crystallized but not the big bang buds that GreeenHouse claims but that's okay as I think it'll make an excellent hash plant (plus I'm sure the blight it suffered early on caused this plant to be a lil more meager than expected (although alot of forum members seem to not like GreenHouse and Arjan especially)

The small NL5 clone seems to be doing well enough for a cloned auto plant. good few buds.

I was thinkng I would have some good smoke at the end of this but now it's looking like I'll have some decent hash or budder. This has been the largest grow I've done in the smallest area I've grown in so it has been quite the learning experience.

**PLEASE IF YOU SEE SOMETHING I'M DOING ABSOLUTELY WRONG, TELL ME**

and in the nest few days I'll be photo-shooting these lil bitches so stay tuned for some nice pics of mediocre weed :p

is this what happens when you never flush nuits? if so how and what do you recommend I go about flushing?!

image.jpg Well no fancy pics but the grow was getting a lil away from me but I don't think too badly, and hey, this grow had a lil trouble but it's my best yet! The end results not terrible.. I certainly learned a lot in this grow and I learned a lot for future grows, primarily never listen to the instructions that nutrient companies provide, this grow I used considerably less than they recommended and I still got bad nuit burn late into the grow. I also learned that fox farm may be crap for DWC but I think I'll give them another whirl in the future (I've still a bunch left over) once I get a lil better with an easier dry formula (hydroponic researches veg+bloom)

I think I'll probably make some bubble has with this sine my Big Bang auto grew real leafy and airy like a hash plant but I think it was because of stress it grew like this :p

Not sure how much norther lights 5 yielded me in exact weight but it took up 3 hanger gulls with some good looking top kolas so I may have some nice flowers if I decided to keep a lil bud. I was very impressed with how much it grew even though there were hiccups.

What do yous guys think? And also tis it better to bubble hash with green buds or shall they be dried and cured?

Well this is a while after your grow but I would stay away from dry nutes. I am having great results with GH flora duo with hydro guard and Zho for strong healthy roots. Had terrible results with dry and had root rot. Switched to the ones above and wow. Beautiful white roots and plants exploded. I have read that dry nutes have some problems with being combined in one container, that some nutes have a adverse effects on others when stored together and that is why most are multi part mixes. Hope this helps
