Bong water from Wax vs Bud?

That is correct. Also when you dab, you are basically vaporizing the concentrate. So what is left in the water is not resin like you get from smoking flowers. I get tons of this reclaim and melt it out into a pyrex dish, then mix with butter and into edibles. Taste terrible to smoke, but that is also an option.

Works the same with a vaporizing bud in a water pipe. For example, I use my e-torch to vape bud in bong I use for vaping only and the water stays much cleaner compared to combusting the flowers in the same bong. So if you vaporize the material instead of combust the water will stay clean much longer.

I tried doing this, but every time I pull it eventually catches fire..especially with a torch, how do you keep it at the perfect temp?

I know what you mean, it's very hard to do it that way for sure. But I'm not using a actual torch though. I'm using a e-torch, electronic torch. Works really really well and I use it quietttt a bit. Was about $100 but well worth it. Works great in kif, hash, and oil too.

Could harshness be due to some type of terpene sesqueterp, diterp concentrating in the water? K marrow collects terps in cold trap during vac purge and steam distill also collects terps in water. Possibly similar process involved vaping through bong water?
