Hey sorry guys! It's been a busy year. I had one going after the last one I had to scrap a few weeks before finish because of spidermites. I've since rectified that. I've been very pleased with the coir and sensi. I can't remember what strain this is, I'll have to take inventory of my strain stash and see if i jars any memories but this is sept 14th weekend:

Updates coming soon, been busy. Just started 12/12 lights this past weekend.

Also will be converting my lights over to quantum strips over the next few months, I have some LM301H strips on their way to me to start working in to replace most of the CLU048-1212's with.

Starting converting my COB setup to LM301H strips. I had to use one of the old heatsinks as a counter balance to keep the crudely suspended stud oriented properly. I'll get them secured and hung more properly when i feel arsed to.

Temp difference is very noticable. On the COB's, the heatsinks stay at 100-115f and I haven't gotten a reading much higher than 90f on the top side of the stud the strips are mounted on, using double sided thermal tape. I can get so close I'm nearly touching the led's on the strip before feeling any heat from them, on the COB's, holding my hand a couple inches under them feels significant heat. Can't wait to order more strips!
HLG185c 1050mA driver behind them, with a dimmer dial wired in turned to a little over half way.

I'm not able to get an image to work. It shows in edit mode, but not in preview or the thread.

very cool ,, i have been taking a long hard look at quantum boards, i just cant seem to make myself spend the money to replace my cobs,,, has heat been an issue for you?,, do you feel you can get the plants closer to the strips?,, does it buy you extra head room that way?

I can get the strips closer than the cobs, that's for sure. I'll be buying a couple more 4-packs before too long, and convert more cobs to strips. I don't need the 5 inch tall heatsinks with the strips. Overall much better. brighter, cooler.

Tied all the pieces together with some threaded rod and a handfull of nuts and washers.
I've ordered the final 4 pack of strips to replace the rear row of cobs with.
I've got several red spectrum 3w star led's I may work in the mix to use up the leftover voltage the strips didn't use up coming from the driver.

Still have quite some time before these girls are ripe and we just went into contract on a potential house purchase to close on the 22nd. Going to be interesting if I have to move these.

At that time, it was about 5.5 ft high. I have since bought a house (was renting) and am in the process of a remodeling the cabinet setup, that will make it a little over 6 ft tall and more footprint room. Also will be venting it to outside of the room it's in, plus a few other improvements. I will post pictures when it's done

I jarred up to cure the top 'layer' of good firm buds, about 6 ounces of those, and then the looser ones (that became actually rather firmer than i thought they would after drying out) and the trim from the ones i jarred up, I saved to make BHO with, went away in a couple gallon ziplock bags, weighing 4 ounces each.

Just make sure the veg and the flower box both have vent holes!
