(BOG)Blue Kush &(GP) GSC x Polar Bear OG

Hey RIU!! It has been a few years since my last grow but after acquiring some good genetics I am ready to give it another shot.

I purchased a 13 pk of BOG Blue Kush and a 10 pk of Greenpoint seeds Girl Scout Cookies x Polar Bear OG. Dont know if it was a mistake or done purposely but I received an extra 2 Blue Kush seeds in my pack .

Germinated 2 Blue Kush successful on 7/29 and they are doing well. Also the other 3 BK were planted on 8/16 and they germed successfully as well. Planted 5 GSC X PBOG on 8/16 and they too germinated successfully. Also must add that the Natures Care organic soil will be used throughout the grow.

The first two BKs are in 1gal pots in Natures Care organic soil.
I'm using 184 watts of CFLs for vegging then I will use a 600 watt HPS for flowering.

First two pics are of BK 1&2 planted on 7/29.
Last two pics are of the 5 GSC x Polar Bear OG and the 3 Bks planted on 8/16.

I'm going to focus this journal exclusively on the GSC x PBOG and BKs that were planted on 8/16, and start a new journal for the others in once I flower them.

That being said, the first pic is of the 5 GSC x PBOGs(Greenpoint seeds) 2nd pic is of the 3 Blue Kush (BOG seeds). Both @12 days from seed.

Will transplant tomorrow...

Day 21 from seed....
In my haste to buy what i thought was cheap organic soil i didnt realize that the soil was made buy Miracle Grow!!! Rookie mistake by a rookie grower. I transplanted all the seedlings into FFOF soil and will be using that for the rest of the grow.
The 5 GSC x Pbog show some signs of nute burn(2nd pic)....
But 2 out of 3 BKs are very healthy with a sour/berry aroma and wide indica leaning leaves(1st pic).

Nothing wrong with miracle gro as long as you understand how time released ferts work. Been seeing this Polar bear og popping up often and well being a bear myself it has got me interested.

Thanks for the input. Seeing them react so badly made me freak out. Lol. The polar bear og male was used in alot of crosses by Gu. Hope it turns out good

Day 27 from seed..

After changing soil over to FFOF. All my plants health have improved. 1st pic is of the 5 GSC x PBOG. 2nd and 3rd pic are of two of the 3 BKs( dark fat indica leaves with a sour berry stank). I plan to flower clones to determine sex, getting rid of males. Just have to wait until my lamp arrives.......
