i just bought the package too and would be interested to hear as well.

anybody have any recommendations for a good soil to use with BMO line?

I have that line also and seeing that its all organic, your best bet would be organic medium.

I'm going to use my nutes with my mixture of pro mix, perlite, worm castings and some guano. :hump: I am hoping for great results. I am also going to do a hempy and coco at the same time. All with nothing but BMO!! It will be a late summer/early fall harvest and I will make a thread to document.

Hello everyone.... I've used the BMO nutes on some Skunk # 1 and got good results. Here is my own feeding chart. The SPT, I used as per the label.

Hi this is my first grow and all I'm using is myco tabs + BMO Grow It Green so far. I will use flower power for flowering.

Soil is a basic peat/verm/perlite mix of my own.

ohso,
Are you no longer using teas as ferts and just using the whole BMO line of ferts now? I've been reading your tea threads over and over. Taste wise, is there a difference using BMO vs teas? Is there a difference on yeild?

thanks,
d2g

I use SPT on my ph'd "water only" days during VEG only. I start out with 15ml per gallon and work my way up to 30ml per gallon.

I have never used the folar harmony but Osho's chart covers that.

I am not answering for OSG, but there is no difference using BMO compared to teas. BMO is just an all-in-one nute, helpful to indoor/apartment growers. This way you don't have to make teas and get all the mess/space that accompies making them. Just with teas, you can make them however you want. BMO is already pre-made, so all you have to do is add to chorlorine free water.

When using any organic product, there is always effects on yeild for most people. If you are looking for super yeilds then organic is not for you.

ok so i can give it the plant tonic on the water only days, so it wont ever get straight water

It will get straight water during flowering but not during veg. So the answer is "yes"

cool how many days a week should i give it nutes, every day, or every other wwatering

I've never heard of only giving the plant SPT during vegging. I use it quite often and I think most people do. I usually feed it with every regular watering (to get the micro beastie herd surviving), through every phase of growth.

Also, only nute once a week. The rest of the waterings in the week should be with either plain water, or SPT/Molasses.

should i mix molasses with the SPT

You don't have to mix them together, I just prefer to. The molasses feeds the beasties in the SPT. If you get molasses, make sure it's Blackstrap Molasses. You can find it at most grocery stores.

how much molasees do you add? you only nute once a week during both cycles vegging and flowering? how is the finished product using bmo nutes compared to other nutes on the market that are organic? how is the yield, smell, taste??

Down2grow.... Eleven years ago, I was a chem only / hydro grower. So, I tried all the big names over the years, everything from GH to Vita-grow. Then when I transistioned to organic growing - I went through the Organic List - Fox Farm, Earth Juice, Bontanicare...etc...
.
I had an old, I mean old Hippie ask me why I wasting my money on bottled stuff all the time. He showed me how to brew (bubble up) simple guano teas and use them properly. I was hooked. I enjoy making them & using them. I probably always will.
.
I got turned on to BMO's SPT a while back by a younger grower, who swore by it. After using it on just one run, I decided to never grow without it. I'd love to know exactly how they make this stuff - it Rocks !!!
.
Now back to the why of it - Basically, I got a really good deal on some BMO products last year at a harvest festival, here in Arkansas. The prices were really right, so I decided to try them out. I used the Flower Power to finish up (two out of ten) Skunk #1's. They smoked just as smooth as my tea only girls and yield was almost dead even.
.
After I finished that run, I started another from seed to finish. The final yield on those Skunk's was within an ounce of the tea only girls, from the previous run.
.
So, to be quite honest - BMO's stuff worked as well as my best made teas and smoked just as smooth. The ounce difference - had probably more to do with weather - than nutes - & we are talking about an ounce difference with ten plants.
.
The BMO stuff is a good choice, for people who don't have the time or space for making teas on a regular basis. With their equipment, they are able to concentrate the stuff better than you or I can do in a bucket.
.
Plus sometimes, it's just easier to carry those small bottles in my backpack to my grow patches - mix on the spot and be done with it.
.
Hope this helps....
