Blurple Led Yes or NO?

I purchased a LED 2000 watt (400 actual) "full spectrum" blurple from Grostar on Amazon. Before I bought it I was contacted via twitter by the rep for these lights who told me if I purchased it on Amazon and gave it a review they would refund me the purchase price. Since I was an ignoramus about lighting at the time I thought it was a no brainer but still skeptical about any refund. I asked how can i review it until I see what kind of success I get as I have until now not planted my first grow? They responded with just review the packaging and the fact that it lights up! Well since I needed lights anyway as part of the grow package I went ahead and purchased it at $239.00. Low and behold two days after I posted the review on Amazon I was refunded the purchase price via Paypal. Boy was I smug about it, got my grow lights FREE wha hoo! And now my fellow growers tell me the light aint worth $#%@# and that I would need 5 of them to do the job, just 8 plants. I have since gotten an education about lighting and purchased HLG quantum boards, 2 of them rated for 285 true watts for just a 3 plant grow the first time out. My grow room is 8 X 7 so I have enough room but if I want to grow more I need more of these HLG's. My question is this: since I have the blurple light already can I combine it with the white light of the HLG during flowering stage or any other time?

You could cover 2x4 or 3x3 with the light you got for free and fill out space using the QB 260w kits doing the same space each kit or you could raise all the lights and blend the spectrum a bit more.
Personally I would be tempted to run each with its own plants under with minimal overlap so I could see the difference between how one light performs compared to the other.

Blurple lights are terrible and wildly inefficient, ask my light bill. 1000w blurple cant even come close to even a 400w vero cob setup. Since I invested in Timber grow lights 600w redwood, my grow has completely changed. Forget those cheapo lights, COBs pay for themselves.

Well right or wrong I plan to combine the board lights with the murple ones at the same heights and see how the plants like it. Just going to do 3 to start. I hope I dont end up confusing the shit out of my plants.

Here is a photo of two plants i grew with my lights. 27 ounces total. The stuff on the table was 16oz the stuff in the jars at the end of the table is 10 and change. There are also pictures of the roots etc.
How do you like the waterfarm? I have a waterfarm and a bubblebucket and might fire one up.

My 2c on lights. Bought a cheap chinese 300watt LED, and then a Mars Hydro Led a couple months later. Actually got really decent results putting the 2 of them in my 2x2 x 6 & growing just one plant.
Started up again in Sept, but had sold the unbranded light, and found the Mars Hydro more or less kept pace with my friends MiGro Cobs in veg- (we started the same week, same seeds, similar conditions) but then they lent me one in week 3 of flower and BOOM! they have really impressed me. I know i'd have larfy soft buds now with a Mars Hydro 300w alone.
Definitely my next purchase, some great stuff on youtube about them, and the guy runs comparison videos with various lights that are interesting, and not necc. promoting his MiGro Cob light in the experiment.

I have a blurpee and the thing is AWESOME! My plants look just like the magazines and the smoke is primo so don't listen to anybody suggesting that a light wont grow BOMB ass bud just cuz it's from china. However... I do have a little money to play with so I'm going to purchase a Cob from timbergrowlights just so I can try it out myself. Then i can either call people out on the bull shit or tell them they were right.

P.s.... Everybody says their lights are the best. I know a guy who swears he can grow just as good bud as anybody with cfl's. I would read reviews of people who actually bought and own the shit.

Beware that people who support Cob lights will tell you that the reviews on blurpies are all done by mentally unstable people who smoke crack. Cob suporters will tell u that you can trust ANY review on Amazon... Except Blurpie reviews. Those are the only reviews on Amazon, that are falsified in order to throw off the buyer. It's all a big conspiracy according to Cob light supporters. Amazon is in on it too. They get a kick back from china for writing fake reviews, and for only letting the unstable crackheads review their lights...

Oh... All blurpie lights have a built in timer that will shut the light down after 2 months so you have to go buy another one. it's a secret only Cob light supporters know about. Shhhhhhhhh
I can't find the post where you said you were wrong haha I'm sure by now you blurple is in the garbage

nah, I plan to use this 400 watt blurple right alongside my HGL boards (2) surrounded by lower wattage (60) led light bars,, I have a feeling that 3 plants will do nicely

the kickback to Amazon is via Paypal but who can complain when you end up with them free? Besides maybe they will work well with my
"legit" COB setup
I wasn't quoting you haha but the blurple might be usefull if you need more heat in the room. I guess it's cool that you got it for free but by leaving a review you are the problem so honestly I hope they catch on fire I can't support some asshole that writes fake review on shitty products to get free stuff
