BLUMAT moisture detecting automatic watering system

I'm planning a grow outside with 20 5gallon buckets hanging in the trees with each having its own 11gallon reservoir bolted higher up the tree with a water line hooking into a blumat for each plant. My question is if i have a full 11 gallon reservoir hooked up to a blumat in a 5 gallon bucket with a 5 foot plant and its 90 degrees outside with no rain, how long is that 11 gallons going to last. I got a water only soilless mixture ready to go that will provide the nutrients throughout the entire grow. I just need to know if I need a bigger reservoir (I will have a hole in the lid to collect rain water) b/c i want to keep trips back to a minimum. (we do get a good amount of rain where i live). Any wisdom would be greatly appreciated! Heres some info on blumats in case your wondering what the hell i'm talkin bout.

Probably 2-3 days max if theres no wind, 1-2 if its 90 degrees outside and windy ball park.

have you used a blumat before because 11 gallons in 2-3 days in a 5 gallon pot seems like alot but I think I am going to go with a 20 gallon for each plant instead just to be safe. my mixture is 80% promix which retains water pretty well and i'm planning on using those water crystals too and mulch as the top layer.

y dont u just take the blumat and hook it up witch ever way u want it to be and see how long it takes to do a gallon then multiply that by the size of ur resivor

Thats a good idea and probably what i'm going to do. I was just
wondering how these things perform in the hot summer. Also if i could set
up with a 20 gallon reservoir for each one and not have to come back til harvest(as long as theres not a drought).

I did switch to a burlap bag(holds about 7 gallons) on the ground with two blumats and a 20 gallon rubbermaid in a tree above. I hear the burlap bag soaks up the morning dew. The light brown kinda sticks out though(walmart). I was going to spray paint them but not sure thats a good idea because off all the chemicals.
